I too am curious as to what became of the lovely Leanni.

I read some old posts from a forum dating way back to Dec 2004, 3 years after her retirement:

I have visited often with Leanni (not her real name, of course) and, fortunately, I was able to spend many hours with her at the Mardi Gras Club, in Springfield, Mass., when she still danced for a living.

Leanni's life has changed a lot in the last two years. She has become a much more "serious" person.

She graduated from a prestigious eastern university, with a degree in finance. Her investments in Connecticut real estate have made her quite wealthy.

She runs a very tight ship, which surprises a lot of patrons (and dancers) who know her only as a former Porn Star.

I, too, have heard the rumor that she finally married her long-time boyfriend, Bobby the DJ. She wouldn't confirm that to me -- I heard it from her accountant -- but the last time I saw them at the Gras they did appear to be very much "together".

Bobby seems like an OK guy, and I wish them happiness.

The way I see it, of course, is that Leanni should've married me!"

"I spent a couple of days in Springfield late last year (2003)visiting with Leanni. I had heard a variety of rumors about her health, her mental stability, and her sudden retirement. I had even read where she had committed suicide. I just had to investigate.

I found her -- very much alive -- in the Mardi Gras upstairs VIP bar, which also serves as the "hostess" station for the Champagne Room (the area for private dances). Leanni and I had spent many happy hours together the year before (2002) frolicking on the CR sofas.

She looked radiant and ethereally beautiful, as always. Her body was athletically slim -- 85 lbs of lithe muscle -- and her skin flawless burnished bronze.

Although she smokes heavily and drinks moderately, there was not a trace of physical effect visible -- no wrinkles, no crow's feet, no aging whatsoever. Her appearance was identical to -- or better than --the way she looked on video during her final year in Porn (2001).

She has not had any cosmetic surgery.

Only her personality had changed. Intentionally or otherwise, Leanni was a far different person than I knew in 2002. Her "charisma" was gone. She had become quiet, and very serious. In her new role as "hostess" and Mardi Gras book-keeper she was strictly business.

She dressed "down", in mid-length dresses and flat shoes, and her VIP bar "desk" was covered in accounting paperwork, register receipts, and payroll schedules. She blew her hair off her face as she scurried around the room attending to her numerous duties, making it all seem like a horrendous chore.

Leanni was no longer attempting to attract customers -- she had officially retired from dancing -- nor was she interested in engaging in seductive conversation. Her personal life was off limits. Even though I was tipping her with $100 bills she still preferred to discuss local politics and urban development in the Springfield area.

For some reason she had begun the process of withdrawing from her former clientle and her "fans". Through mutual friends she had even discouraged my visit.

She was pleasant enough to me while I was in Springfield, but she was distant, and I was never able to get to the bottom of her story.

Leanni did take the time to introduce me to Bobby, and the three of us had dinner together one night at her bar. I knew, of course, that she was "with" Bobby -- she has been for years -- but it never occurred to me that a marriage alone would've inspired the abrupt changes I was seeing in her.

I suspect there's a lot more to this mystery than "Porn Star Leanni Lei Moves On With Her Life" -- I just don't know what it is!"

I haven't been able to dig up any more recent news on her.

Perhaps the saying "Old soldiers never die, they just fade away" should apply to pornstars too...

Maybe I can add something here.

At some point around 2005 (give or take a couple of years) Leanni set up a webpage to connect with her fans. There were some non-nude candids and a bulletin board, but nothing about where to see her strip, buy her movies, or set up escorting appointments. As far as the site was concerned, she didn't escort or even strip anymore. Since this was also around the same time she started escorting again, I guess the site also functioned as a way to meet clients, but you couldn't just post "Hey Leanni, do you escort?" on the BB. I guess you had to figure out how to contact her directly in order to do that. Anyway, a year or so after the site started somebody posted a picture of her and what he said was him on the front page claiming that he was her husband and she (he used her real name) used to be a great wife and stepmother, but started escorting due to financial troubles and now "that's all she wants" and has abandoned her new family. Then, a crazed fan found out her address and committed a home invasion. At this point she shut down the site and decided she didn't want to be Leanni Lei any more.

If I had to venture a guess, I'd say it was the home invasion that made her decide to back out of the public eye more than the "outing".

wow that guy couldn't get it through his head that she moved on. sounds not only desperate but strange that he wanted her to whore after knowing she is in a marriage and doing other things with her life.

Yeah, that would have an effect for sure, if she had had any intentions of being in a more public eye.
