My immediate guess as to why there are not many 6'+ girls in porn would be because the guy's package would look really small (i.e. it's true size). Just browsing through stats I've noticed the average height women in porn is between 5' and 5'6", which of course means the guy's hard-on is going to look monstrous with those girls. It's all about the preception on camera.

Which is why whenever I see those adds that say things like, "GET A BIGGER DICK WITH THIS ONE WEIRD TRICK!", my first reply is, "Date a really small woman?".

You're onto something with that, but it doesn't end with height. A lot of the more successful girls in the industry are built to further endow any guy they come into contact with on film. Their frame is smaller, their hands are smaller, and et cetera. If you didn't know any better, you would think that there was genetic manipulation going on. If a girl is tall and attractive, that isn't to say that she won't be successful, but most of the time the average porn viewership won't be as into her as her 5'4" counterpart. The only real exceptions to that would be Carmella Bing and Gianna Michaels-- for tits like that, most guys are willing to put their superiority aside.

Height is a factor too, though. Most men, myself included, aren't into girls that are taller than them. I'm only 5'8", which is short in comparison to most, so I'm into girls that are at my height or shorter. Every once in awhile, I'll get into a tall girl, but it just never works out in the same way. By design, men need to feel superior.

That is pretty much what I said. More descriptive, but pretty much my point. No offense.

What first got me curious about that was when I found out just how short Cherokee was. 4'11"? Damn, even I'd look big compared to her! So after some browsing of stats (and seeing some vids of Gianna and Briana Banks) I figured that was the method to their madness. Whenever possible, make the guy's tool as big as the girl's arm, but use a girl who barely is a nickel high because the guy is barely above average. Of course, as you pointed out, there are some tall girls that they just CAN'T ignore.

As for me, I'm about 5'6" and like you usually prefer my height or shorter, but I once went on a date with a woman 5'8", and I have to say I actually liked it. Was too bad it was a one-night-stand. Better luck next time, I guess.
