I thought Rylee and Rhyse are not blood sisters, they are like step sisters or something like that.

I heard that Melanie and Valerie are half sisters but I think Melanie was Melanie Jane until Valerie got in the business, so maybe they are just doing it for attention since they literally do everything with each other and that is illegal in the US (to shoot the content at least)

I think half sisters and step sisters are different. Half sister share one same parent but step sisters might not.

If we assume that these infos are right (regardless of whether it's 12th or 22nd December, 1990, for Valerie), the two ladies were born less than 4 months apart and therefore can IMPOSSIBLY be FULL sisters. They might be HALF sisters (same father, different mothers) or STEP sisters (if, no matter when, the father of one married the mother of the other), but no one tells details about these possibilities. However, the ladies themselves (on twitter, facebook - I never look at any of these two sites) seem to state that they have no relation at all, apart of having grown up together as friends.
