Jamaican Stallion
His own online biography describes Jah-T as a heavily tattooed man from Jamaica and as one of South Florida's fastest rising porn stars.
A former drama school student in Kingston, the 45-year-old adult entertainer charges a $500-per-session fee and is available for "private dates" for $175 an hour – ladies only, according to the site. Jah-T's name and his nakedness adorns the front covers of dozens of adult DVDs with titles like "Jamaican Stallion" and "Miami's Nastiest Nymphos 1-5." According to the bio, the man with the word "Crunk" inked across his buttocks has performed with more than 100 women in porn movies. "Jah-T has revolutionized his brand of adult entertainment!!" reads the online biography. But state and federal investigators said at least nine of those women were drugged. Jah-T, whose real name is Emerson Callum of Miami Gardens, teamed up as far back as 2006 with a former Miami Beach police officer to lure the women from across state lines and across the Caribbean to South Florida with promises to be stars in commercials and movies, according to federal prosecutors. Callum and his partner, Lavont Flanders Jr, allegedly doped the women with alcohol and Xanax, and then the heralded porn star sexually assaulted them while the former cop played movie director, according to a federal indictment filed this week. The two later made DVDs of the encounters and sold them online. A 22-count indictment charges Flanders and Callum with conspiracy, human trafficking and distribution of Xanax involving nine victims from May 2006 to February 2011. Conviction could result in a life sentence. A look at courtroom files at the state and federal levels depict the pair as predators who in 2006 began seeking out aspiring actresses who appeared in modeling and social media websites. Police say many women recounted similar tales like the one told by a Winter Park woman who showed up at the Hollywood Police station on March 26, 2007, alleging she was drugged and assaulted on the beach. Investigators said the women were never paid. Most of the state cases against the two were dropped last month to make way for the federal charges, Broward prosecutors said this week. The state cases are now part of the federal indictment. The state case involving the woman in Hollywood is the only one that remains open at a state level. The woman declined to speak when reached by phone on Friday. Attorneys representing the men in the state cases said this week that the women involved all signed releases showing they knew they were there to film explicit pornography. The videos also contain footage of the women denying they were under the influence of drugs or alcohol. Callum and Flanders are scheduled to appear before a federal judge in Miami-Dade on Monday for a bond hearing. Days after state prosecutors dropped most of the criminal cases against Flanders, he rushed to file a lawsuit against Miramar officials and detectives, claiming false arrest. In court documents, Flanders indicates he is seeking $15,000 in damages from the city, saying the 2007 arrest caused him to lose his job as a Miami-Dade Transit bus driver and lose a discrimination lawsuit he filed against his former employer: the Miami Beach Police Department. The attorney representing him on the lawsuit, Teresa Williams, said Friday she hadn't determined whether to move further with the lawsuit against the city. |
