JDownloader suddenly down to 30kbs from 150kbs
Last night when I started downloading a 7 part movie I set up Jdownloader to download all the parts it started off around the usuall speed, 150 to 200kbs, then it seemed like after the first part was done it went down to 10kbs(no, it was not paused), when clicking on the "speed graph" itself I seen an option to limit the download speed was on, I turned it off, now I am getting a steady 30kbs, and a movie which was supposed to take 22hours is now going to take 4 days to download. Am I doing something wrong? What gives?

If the speed changed before you actually changed anything, it was likely host related and not JD.
The speed limit setting is useful when you are using good hosts and don't want to max out your DL speed (as it will affect any other internet activities which you are doing). If you have it set low, it will limit the speed of all the connections to the speed to which it is set. If it's set high, it won't have any affect. And if it's off it won't have any affect. |

I thought it was just me... I went to resume a Turbobit download that got interrupted a couuple nights ago. When it resumed, the speed (not that Turbobit is Speedy Gonzales anyway) dropped from 50kbps to 10kbps... I thought it was them. Turns out that I went into the utility on the download page (lower right hand corner), and the speed control was engaged. After some fiddling, I was able to reset it back to a speed limit of 0 (unlimited).
