What good television shows are you watching?
Just looking for some good shows to fill the void,

I'm watching Doctor Who, Burn Notice, In Plain Sight, and on the Bio channel they have a great series called I Survived. Its 2-3 stories per episode of folks telling how they survived a near death experience.
The format is usually A crime story, a disaster story, and another crime story. They are all true and utterly fascinating. At the end you see actual news footage or photos of the criminals. The storys are like: people surviving a plane crash, shark attacks, Bear attacks (the bear always scalps the dudes for some reason), women who survived serial killers, kids at Columbine when those 2 pieces of shit killed lots of folks, women surviving rapists, there is even 1 about some dude that beat his ex-wife with a baseball bat and then threw her naked body in a 55 gallon barrel and filled it with snow (he thought she was dead) and how she escaped. |

I love Bones. It's not like any crime show I've seen. Unlike a crime show the characters actually develop over time!
Man Vs. Wild is also good. Sometimes I wonder though: Is anyone going to apply what they have seen on the show in to real life situations, or is the show just for entertainment? The show is very interesting nonetheless.

I'm looking forward to the airing of the new Entourage season tonight.
Besides that I keep myself busy with NCIS: Los Angeles, Top Gear (UK  ) and Mad Men. Hope to see a new season of Flashpoint soon too. |

I am currently enjoying a second look at last year's BBC TV's 3 part series Sherlock.
A new drama, also British, has only just started its BBC run: The Hour is a drama set in a BBC news show in 1956. Some have compared it to Mad Men, but I don't really see the similarities.
