![]() Glad The Walking Dead is back from its break: this season sees our band of survivors undergoing some of their biggest challenges yet.
I have discovered an OKish Canadian WWII drama, X Company: a group of Canadian, American and British are torn from their ordinary lives to train as agents to work behind enemy lines in France, ahead of the Normandy Landings. Could be better, but it has its good moments and is generally enjoyable. A nice touch is having an agent who has a rare condition called Synesthesia (he remembers everything he sees and it is also implied that his memory applies not only to what he sees but what he hears, feels, smells, etc).

![]() The last 3 new cast members they added were 2 african americans and a latino actor. They gave them no back story and all 3 are very bland. So people have no investment in their characters and it takes away from the show. Hopefully they will get back on track as its still a good show but it used to be great.

It isn't something that should go on endlessly as producers tend to do, but another season to give some answers would be good. Also looking forward for the answers of Mr. Robot (end of season 2). And I became a fan of Doctor Who Looking forward for the new season, but seen from the spoilers, without Clara ![]() .

![]() Tonight a new series started on the BBC:
SS:GB A British drama series produced for the BBC, based on Len Deighton's novel by the same name. It is set in a 1941 alternative timeline in which Nazi Germany, having won the Battle of Britain, is now a harsh occupying force in the United Kingdom. Good show, now added to my viewing list.

You beat me to it. Did you notice the names of the 2 producers/writers: Neal Purvis and Robert Wade? They wrote all 4 Daniel Craig James Bond films. Plus it's based on a novel by Len Denton! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SS-GB |

![]() Slightly off topic...I have been binge watching Battlestar Galactica (2004–2009) on blu-ray that I bought at eBay.
It's funny that I finally got into this re-imagining of the old BSG from 1978-79 because when the new version originally aired I was pissed that so many changes had been made. But one day a couple of years after the show had wrapped I begrudgingly watched a marathon and after about four episodes I was hooked! Really the only downside for me is that goddamn shaky camera shit is present in almost every scene making me dizzy but it's not as bad on a small screen.

![]() I refuse to watch the BSG reboot because I was a kid when the original BSG aired on TV.
Even Tricia Helfer wearing very little clothing in the new BSG is not enough to convince me to watch it. |

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Big_Little_Lies_(novel) With Reese Whitherspoon, Nicole Kidman, Laura Dern, Shailene Woodley, Zoë Kravitz. In the opening credits, Reese is credited ahead of Nicole. How did that happen? As with most HBO produced series goes, this is pretty good! |
