My tv has been on The Munsters for the last 5 hours, and I think I might have a brain bleed.

I was reflecting on the staggering amount of inventions and societal changes that characterized the XX century.

It's incredible to see the difference between the year 1900 and the year 1999.
Actually, even just the difference between 1950 and 1999 is truly mind bending.

Things weren't much different between decades in the past.
Life in 1800 wasn't that much different than 1899, and if you go back in time, the differences are even less noticeable.
Life in 1600 was pretty similar than life in 1700, and it was even less different between 1500 and 1600 and so on...

I imagine how much different the year 2099 will be, when compared to 2000.
Well...by then I'll very much probably be dead (but with the advancements in medicine, you never know...)

Contrary to what it might look like, I'm not really a huge fan of Remy Lacroix.
However I just fell in love with my profile pic, and I don't think I'll change it anytime soon.

I'm pretty comfortable with my strong porn consumption since 2010 (of course, I consumed it much earlier than that, but my passion for it, which is a nicer word for addiction, started in 2010).

I don't feel guilty, my behaviour towards women hasn't changed one bit (for the worse), and I don't have those "post-jerkoff blues".

That said, if I were to specify one bad aspect about porn, it would be the fact it is an incredible time sink...

It's actually not the consumption itself or the masturbation...contrary to what it might look life, I don't jerk off that frequently.
I have, however, this need to archive and catalogue everything in my life (music, films, porn, art book scans and whatnot), therefore I spend lots of time downloading, sorting, managing and combing through my collection.

I also have the dreaded "fear of missing out", and I check the internet for new content daily, for the fear of losing an amazing video.

So, going into 2025, my aspiration would not be to jerk off less or consume less porn, but simply to spend a little less time constantly managing my collection.
