Planetsuzy Problems - Please Panic Here!

Ok I'm back on. On the advice above I changed my dns server back to my isp's own one away from google dns.

It seems to be google dns that is blocking the site.

When I tried to go to the site it would stop at Looking... and then say it couldnt connect. Like it didn't exist. Now I changed dns servers its working again.

Same here, I was using google DNS, and was getting ERR_NAME_RESOLUTION_FAILED.

Thought I'd just wait until today, expecting it to be fixed but it's still down, so I was able to get on here as a guest using a proxy service, but didn't want to log in as I don't know if I could trust it with my password. Luckily I was able to read the advice in this thread and have just changed to the "automatically detect DNS" setting and am finally able to log on again.

I'm having the same problem, too.

Trying to connect to the site from the UK, all I get is "We can’t connect to the server at planetsuzy.org". No problem connecting via a proxy - like now - but wondered if this site had been blacklisted by my Internet provider.

I would suggest that you use servers from different DNS providers as your primary and secondary.

I have Google DNS as my primary server and OpenDNS as my secondary and have had no issues.

I also did an nslookup for planetsuzy just now and google DNS has the correct IP.

Y'all have a real problem with the Pixroute host. It keeps redirecting to ransomware sites. Please ban these assholes.

Having a list of allowed hosts (for images and files) has long been one of our Planets' strong points.

However, for reasons unknown to me, we are now burdened with allowed hosts that suck to the extreme, contrary to the philosophy behind the whole original reasons for creating a list of allowed hosts.

I was not aware there were any issues until I read this post.

I have raised this, if you could provide links to posts or images that you are having trouble with, it would assist us with our investigations.

I had the same problem but I have put the 2 sites in my etc/hosts system file and they never open. This file is kind of redirection to whatever IP adress. It is available on Windows and Linux, don't know for other OS

When you click on the screens to view them, it opens the image in a separate window (normal) but while you're viewing the image, the other window redirects to the spam. I'm on a PC using Google Chrome for browsing. Thank for taking a look at it, Gwynd.
