For example; they've fixed how long it takes files to download - by having the downloads interrupt themselves. Thus now, files take less time to download

Nope Tried same link from PS on FFox, and Opera and each time it dies at 12-15k. Been happening like this for a week or so now.

I was trying to download from another site which is a nightmare using luch's trick to see if I could get good speeds...

Are you saving links to download later instead of the posts with the links in them??? Makes all the difference in the world even from PlanetSuzy...

Using JDownloader, I copy the download links as is. But I have also pasted a link, of a thread that contains a bunch of links, into Settings -> PlugIns -> Keep2Share, and since then downloads have been consistently 150 kb/s without failures in connection (keeps fingers crossed)

In my post above this one, I've laid out how I do it - it is the link to the thread containing many Keep2Share links that I paste here. The download links get copied into the main Downloads tab as usual.

can you explain your problem ? Low d/l speed ? D/l stopping ?

It just stops at 15-25MB and the explanation is always the same:

even with the referrer trick ?

So I did PM trick with a link outside psuzy and it works (though I'd wish you could see the referrer on k2s) same goes with clicking on a fileboom link from here and downloading it, although I haven't tried it with a link from a different site yet.

In the last eight days or so, half of my k2s downloads claim to complete. The first 30 to 40 seconds of the video play, and then it shuts off. I know something is not right when download estimate is 40 minutes and then claims to finish in six.
