Right now, my collection is on the 1,5TB range.
Backing up some of the stuff I like the most onto some Blu-Ray discs it's definitely gonna be a real pain in the butt.

I had a 2TB drive, but since my collection got bigger, I had to buy a larger 3TB drive. So now I keep my whole collection in the 3 TB drive and a smaller set of my collection (~1TB) on the 2 TB drive (so I won't lose everything if the main 3TB drive fails).

19.94 TB total, I'll no doubt be passing 20 TB by this weekend.

After years of stressing over the potential of a catastrophic HDD failure and storing redundant copies across multiple large HDDs, I finally upgraded to a NAS with RAID. 10+10+10+8 TB drives, giving me 24.44 TB total redundant storage. 17.06 TB (70%) is currently being used. In addition to this, there's another 2.86 TB stored locally on my computer.

Here's the overall spread:

7.18 TB - Stars, all organized by name, very few duplicates. Primary means of sorting.
2.54 TB - Topic, sorted by agency or genre. Some duplicates from the Stars partition, secondary means of sorting.
1.68 TB - VR, active use (sort of a 'best of' or 'newly acquired' stored locally, run on a Valve Index)
2.90 TB - VR, archive (on NAS, moved to local drive for viewing), very few duplicates of above.
3.39 TB - Input/Output, temporary NAS partition used while sorting. This includes some copies and a 'Best Of' folder. 1.2 TB of this has been sorted and is currently being moved to Stars and Topic.
1.17 TB - Local active sorting, edits, trimmed videos, best of.
1.08 TB - Amateur, mostly unsorted, duplicates likely.

In addition to this, I have 5x 8TB HDDs, 2x 5TB HDDs, and 2x 2TB HDDs that are either unused or have unorganized, redundant content on them. These were used before my NAS was implemented, and once I get a little more organized, the NAS will be backed up onto those and likely stored off-site. I may also delete or move some of the shitty older stuff to standalone HDDs to make more space on the NAS as it fills up.

Those 4k 2D and 6k 3D videos at 4-15 GB each sure do take up a lot of space..

I need another HD I am looking at getting a 10tb Western Digital in the near future. If I downloaded only 4080p scenes a 6tb hd would be more than enough I could never fill to even close to full with scenes. With this 4k monitor 1080p and 4k are the only scenes I am getting from now on.
