This is terrible move . I understand banning the links by guys like myself who don't buy a 1fichier membership and have our posts removed in 15 days which causes the Mods unnecessary work removing dead links. But to ban the 1fichier links by guys like Kogi who's links stay alive is folly. I suppose the reason is because there's no way to differentiate between the paid and unpaid links but perhaps if the uploader can show they have a registered 1fichier account then they should be permitted to continue using 1fichier.

I hope Kogi that you continue to post and if not here than at VEF. Your posts are just too important not to be shared IMHO

As I pointed out in a prior post, this could have been solved so much better. No serious uploader would choose the free option for 1fichier (15 days) for sharing files. The dead links of unregistered members' 1ficher accounts will go away over time as uploaders will simply stop using 1fichier. There are much better options out there for free memberships. And cash posters will of course still go for cash hosters! So now they end up alienating members who are serious about sharing, but not about cash. The appeal of 1fichier is that you can pay a yearly membership at the cost of a monthly at most other hosts, and you don't need to worry about dead links. To do the same with pixeldrain, depositfiles or whatever, would be a hell of a lot more expensive.

I have been a 1fichierpremium member for 5+ years and all 1000+ links are still active.

But I guess, as one of the mobsters of old, this is indeed the time to ride into the sunset, playing the lonesome tune, and hanging up my boots.

Unfortunately, that would be way too complicated.

In related news, a very popular movie site is letting 1F links go dead because they can't afford the storage fees

Please make a search function for the name of the video by the topic of a specific model in the "High definition video PATM" section. Moderators seem to have such a feature. Why don't webmasters have it? Please do it!!!

I understood how the search for the model topic works. You open the theme of the model. There is a drop-down menu "Search by topic" at the top. Then everything is elementary.
