I don't want to be the "blame the victim" guy, but how do we know she didn't choose to take drugs? Did she say that she was forced to take the drugs?

If she was indeed forced, then that's obviously rape - nothing "not too far away from rape" about it - but if she chose to take them herself, that's a bit different.
