Bless me friends for I have neglected this thread. My last confession --- I mean update -- was a month ago.

So, what have I done since January 25th? I finally got the tree down. The lights have been down for a month, but they have been rolled up on the dining room table and draped over the guest bed. There is still one 1800 light unit leaning in the corner of the guest room, not yet in the attic, but that should happen this week.

I have repaired the latches on two doors, worked on the hinges on a third door, replaced a toilet seat - was probably at least 18 years old, maybe older.

When I took the tree down, of course there is the inevitable layer of the little grass like plastic needles on the floor. While I had the shopvac out for those, I got under all the furniture in the sunroom, up the walls, top of the windows, a right proper clean down.

While storing away the lights, I sorted a bit of the attic and listed more items on my sale site.

I've only sold seven listings so far this year, $40 out of nearly $1400. Seven listings for $40? Suffice to say, I haven't sold any large items.

My two liter fryer caught fire, so I have replaced it and recycled what could be recyled of the old one.

My project list is at 19, down from 31 on Valentine's day. That 19 includes what I have dubbed the "eternal eight," the ones that have been posted on the back of the office door for two years now.

After work this afternoon I dug up a stump in the back yard for the sake of the mower.

After that I got a shower, sat down here, and now I'm taking my jelly legs to bed.

Some guy on the other local board where I post is boasting the loss of 15 pounds. If I lost 15 pounds, I could hide behind the mailbox, the skinny one at the end of the driveway, not a downtown drop box.

Several months ago, I built a PC. I had a lot of help from a friend and the internet, yet I'd still consider that a major accomplishment. That was well out of my wheelhouse. Anyone who says "it's like Lego" is full of shit, or they've been doing it so long, so they've forgotten what it's like to be a noob PC builder. One good tip in regards to building for the first time: Walk away when you get frustrated. I did that many times.

Recently the new PC all of a sudden came up with an "Activate Windows" watermark. I know I bought a legit copy of Windows. WTF? Thankfully, I kept everything from the build, including the Windows key. I packed everything away 'Russian Doll' style in the PC case shipping box and that went into my closet. I live in a small place. I got so ticked off at the idea of having to move a bunch of shit, just to get to this PC case. It lit a fire under my ass. I need to toss shit, so I can make room for the stuff I do use and make life easier. So far I have a full kitchen standard (13 gallon) garbage bag of clothes ready for the dumpster (no one wants this shit donated). That's only the beginning. Fuck clutter.

I got the Win Key re-entered and that's all good now too.
