I tried for over a year to buy (or actually renew) a premium subscription with no success. They are purposely forcing people to go through resellers. In my experience, these resellers are overpriced and/or risky.

Definitely risky. I wouldn't trust them with an actual credit card. I'd use a prepaid credit card instead, with dummy personal info. Yes, it costs a few bucks extra, but the peace of mind knowing that your private info is safe and that fake charges are limited is worth it to me.
