I seen some youtube videos where they regret getting involved . Are there any videos where past performers warn anyone thinking of joining warning the potential pitfalls abuse exploitation etc. or they afraid of law suits from porn companies or worse because that industry rumored connection to the criminal underworld?

shelley lubben was a well-known anti-porn advocate and more known for that than her whore career which lasted about a year with not a lot of scenes.

Raffael Anderson. She got rapped by 2 men who recognized her. But to be honest, I don't really think she dislike what she did, she was a very enthusiast perform who did a lot of hardcore stuff with several companies.

But sure that knowing that she wouldn't have get rapped if she didn't do porn in the first place is understandable.

At some point, disregarding porn or your porn career is somewhat silly and also a little incoherent. I mean, the did porn because it's what they wanted to do. They had time to think about doing it and pursuing there career. Some pornstar quit porn after just 2-3 scenes because it didn't reach their expectation or didn't like shooting porn in general.

I might understand however that some late consequences of shooting porn can be very undesirable, but that doesn't change the very reasons that made them shoot porn in the first place.

It's the same as a MMA fighters that has some physical issues after his career. They knew it could happen, but decided to fight nevertheless because it's what they wanted.

IIRC, I remember reading years and years ago that Scott Nails absolutely hated the industry, to the point where he opted to get out and get a construction job....even though he was one of the biggest names in the industry. I dont know exactly how true it was, but I remember another pornstar talking about it.

He came back years later, so I guess he couldnt have hated it THAT much. Or maybe he just hated it at the time he got out.

Im sure alot of pornstars hate/regret their time in AFTER they get out.

The ironic thing about getting into porn is that it's a visual medium. Okay, let's say you leave the industry for whatever reason (morals, controlling boyfriend, drugs, bad decision, etc.)- it's not like those images will ever disappear. Once you're in, have some photos or videos taken- it's out there. You can leave the industry for years and those images are still floating around out there in someone's stash. They can even decry about how bad it is but there it is in stark vivid color of them doing whatever kink they were doing. Deny it until the sun comes home but the deed is done.

Honestly the best thing they can do is admit they did it. Be upfront about it. Maybe even talk about how bad it was for them- but it's a lot tougher to lecture about it when they did it themselves. And how many people want to hear the sermon as opposed to looking at the pics?

It's a slippery slope once you step into the porn arena (no pun intended).

One never regrets it in the middle of their career, especially if there's some money and mild fame involved. After all of that money goes away and they're not as employable- I'm sure it's easy to shake your fist backwards.

Pro-Am porn can in theory be fun if done with a partner. Studio porn is just a pain in the ass to shoot.
