What is that even supposed to mean? Musk has such a wide range of vocal fans, what you said makes no sense. There are very rich fans of Musk like Jamie Dimon, the billionaire CEO of JPMorgan who just yesterday called Musk "Our Einstein," and there are also loads of people with far less wealth (namely, most of the 200+ million people who follow him on X) who equally admire his work. There are very smart people like Jensen Huang, CEO of NVidia, and also not-so-smart people like Kanye West (not to single him out, but he's the most obvious example). There are conservative people like Ben Shapiro, a traditional Jew, and also liberal people, such as John Fetterman. There are artistic people like Nick Jonas and Morgan Freeman, and too many scientific people to name. The only thing they all seem to have in common is that they admire the technical excellence that Musk embodies.

The cloud of lies hanging around Musk is unreal. Even on this site, I've seen no fewer than three people claim Musk isn't an engineer, when in fact even the harshest of Musk's real critics would concede that not only is he an engineer, but an ingenious engineer at that. When I hear patently untrue statements, especially about someone who's done so much good in the world like Musk has, it's hard to resist speaking up about what the actual facts of the case are. Certainly he's an imperfect human being (although so aren't other tech geniuses like Bezos, Zuckerberg, Gates, etc.) but the way he's poised to improve technology on so many fronts is virtually unprecedented. I feel as though, rather than having a reasonable debate here about the merits and flaws of Musk's philosophy, lately it's like explaining to a bunch of flat-Earthers that, despite all their biases, the Earth is actually round (well, an oblate spheroid to be precise). No matter how much people dislike Musk, though, that doesn't make him any less of a brilliant innovator, or somehow disqualify all the incredible work he's done.

He hasn't invented anything at all, but he just bought companies that DID actually created something long before he became the owner.
He's not good at programming, he doesn't know shit about engineering and he even cheats on videogames in front of millions of gamers.
He's a disgrace for mankind.
Other more rational people would had just label Musk as a "privileged and good for nothing" person.
Because, in the end, that's what he really is.

He's just a fraud, unlike Bezos, which he REALLY has an engineer degree and DID actually created something himself.
Even I, if I was a billionaire like Musk, and had bought General Electric or Rolls-Royce I could've said that I make airplane engines and cars, even though I know shit about electric cars systems and airplane engines.
But, hey.

When you have the power and all the money in the world you can be anyone, and have a mask to hide all your lies.......there will always be new fools ready to follow in line.

It is against the law to call yourself an Engineer unless you are licensed (PE) as a professional engineer in the state where you work. Just like you can't call yourself a medical doctor (MD) unless you are licensed. They are professional titles that come with direct personal liability that you can not assign to a company or corporation.
