Reason: Reorganized paragraph order.
http://***************/files/61663459/Tile_Sizes.xls Size of file: 22.5 kbs (very small) Backup included in another tab in case you mess something up. For those that don't have the Image Grabber II program, here is that link to tha as well. http://***************/files/60592056/ImageGrabberII.zip Hi folks, Most of us here use Image Grabber II. Instead of guessing what numbers you should enter, I made an Excel worksheet that will calculate those numbers for you. Since it has two functions, I will explain both in sections. 1) CALCULATING TIME INTERVAL This is the ONLY part that you would enter data in, all the other cells will not be 'touched'. a) Obtain the full length of the movie (that should be simple enough). b) Enter the length of the movie in hours, minutes, and seconds format in the very top of the worksheet (again, that is the only part that you would imput data into). c) Once the numbers are computed, determine the time interal you want in seconds, or even how many tiles you want. d) Obtain the corresponding number that is in cells D4 - D26 and enter that in the pop up window of the Image Grabber II program that says "Number of frames to extract:" 2) CALCULATING TILE SIZES This can vary depending on how you have your settings in the Image Grabber II progam and what screen resolution you have your computer set at. These calculations are for computers that are set at 1024x768 Also for me, I have the settings that appear in the save window in the program at 1 for both 'Gap Width' & 'Gap Height', so in the save window when you go to save your work, set the gaps at 1. a) Once you determine how many tiles you want for each row, select the corresponding tile width size that is below it and enter that in the "Tile Width" setting when you save your work. *NOTE* You will want to round down the number if it has a decimal incriment since the program only accepts whole numbers. |
