If she is indeed retiring, I'm not totally surprised, but she will be missed.

I remember I once saw an interview with her and it was apparent that she was quite calculating on when do to certain things (e.g. first anal, first IR) so as to her maximise her income.

Given that she's got enough nous about her to plan these things out, I'm not surprised that she's going out while her stock (and pay rate) is relatively high rather than fading away into irrelevancy.
