Between 1998 and 2003, Teraz Films – an obscure Eastern European studio – released the Fаntοm Kiler trilogy of ultra-low budget horror movies drawn from the disturbed mind of an similarly obscure director named Roman Nowicki. The Fаntοm Kiler films told the story of a young woman trying to escape a masked serial killer who commits a series of murders throughout the story. The movies featured explicit nudity but no actual sex, due to the general prohibition (at the time) against acts of non-consensual violence in hard-core pornography.
