Yeah, and it's not even funny - some of 'the beautiful people' you see in the media being labeled as plastic surgery "addicts" are in fact mentally ill. They have these 'body dysmorphic' disorders (anorexia is a example) that cause them to actually see and perceive their bodies in ways that are not a part of objective reality.

One woman, whose doctors and family were trying to intervene, had so many procedures done that she ran out of surgeons willing to risk any more work. Her face simply could not tolerate any more "enhancement" and was ready to collapse. What blows me away though are examples in which these disorders are so extreme in nature, and so disturbing to the patients, that they can convince a doctor to amputate a healthy hand or foot!

the woman in those pictures is especially sad since she mutilated herself for her husband whom i believe is dead now, but she still keeps right on going with that crap so she can look like a cat because apparently he was into that.
