Reading some of the posts here - especially the one about Alex Devine/Steve French/Donkey Punch reminded me of a discussion in the "peeves" and "where next" threads. When it was suggested that outright violence and brutality were the next logical extremes there were many who claimed this was an idiotic idea.
It would seem not.
There are many abusive scenes out there that must make every sane observer question what has happened to make the performer hate herself so much, or at the very least value herself so little, and one would not be human if one did not feel a little sorry for them - even if their predicament is in the main self inflicted. And then there's the unguarded comments in the behind the scenes footage and the look of misery on some in live web footage that pretty much demonstrates that it's all about money and rarely fun. One would have to question where the values came from that would prompt someone to put themselves in those positons and then wonder whose fault that is.

There's alot to question about porn and the effects it has on those who work in it, just as there is to fear about where porn is headed and the inevitable conclusions. We're a long way away from the days when porn had anything to do with sensuality, and when the sexuality was anything other than about dominance and a tolerance for the extremes.

Yes he does have a point and I agree with him, but I don't like seeing Senior Moderators calling rank and file members "idiots" and "douches", in fact I don't like seeing anyone calling others insulting names.
