![]() Thought I might start a thread to document methods of downloading content.
To download videos stored in chunks in hosts such as ***************: I use the free Firefox browser Plugin "Download-Them-All".
I find that because of problems with the hosts such as "***************", I have to limit Download-Them-All to only one concurrent download at time. Otherwise, the hosts seem to barf and only send partial files. This works well because you can stack up 2-3 videos in the queue and let your computer run all night. In the morning, all the videos are downloaded and waiting to be combined. It doesn't overwhelm the host, or your BB connection. Just let it download in the background while you work on other things. Download Them All can also restart and pause in case you need to shutdown, have a failure, or some other interruption. It works fine in Windows and Mac. |
