I just saw this interview where Lexington Steele discusses this. So there are men who research all videos to see if any new hot girl has performed with black men and won't buy her films if she has? The UK is nothing like the US when it comes to "interracial" sex. It's never really been a taboo here in the way it is in the states so most people are accepting of it. I doubt you'll find many Brits who even really consider it a fetish.

I think some girls' unwillingness to go the IR route has a lot to do with perceived status. Girls who only do non-nude glamour shots are accorded the most respect in the business, while girls who do kinkier things are accorded less and less respect depending on how far they're willing to go. A girl like Tessa Fowler, for example, was offered $500 K to do hardcore, but refused because she didn't want to tarnish her "nice girl" image and alienate her softcore fanbase (or so she said). I think a similar thing happens with IR. IR is associated with lower status because it represents another threshold of sluttiness to cross. When a girl is seen as being sluttier, her earning potential usually decreases since she's perceived as not needing as much financial inducement to perform dirtier acts. It's also usually more interesting to watch a girl who seems nicer and more innocent doing porn than a confirmed whore who's blasé about it all. Many people (not only in the U.S. but also the U.K. and beyond) are turned off by Leg@lPorno-type rough and gross-out porn, and for them IR is an equally big turn off, not least because IR scenes are so often of a low-class, rough, and deliberately offensive character.

I'd also add that, in my experience at least, IR fans rank among the most pushy and ill-mannered ones around. It may be that some girls get messages asking them not to do IR, but I've seen girls like Natalia Starr bombarded by demands that she do IR and, when she still won't do IR, the fans accuse her of being racist (which is just plain harassment).

So many IR topics lately, I guess it's pretty divided here.

It's extra strange to me when some girls do a little IR early on but then get away from it. Think that happened with Lexi Belle.

I think pretty much all of my favorite girls did some IR so I'm drawing a blank on anyone who doesn't right now. Some girls that didn't do IR that I can think of just didn't do many scenes in general, so I don't know if that's valid to go off of. Then there's some like Jaylynn Sins, whom I think she mostly did IR.

In 2016, we see many more stars doing IR thesedays I'd think and it doesn't seem to be as big of a deal. But that's just my perception.

Lex Steele is awesome, I still crack up hearing that he says he's Christian so he's "sinning" with every scene (his words). I'd wager he's probably one of the most successful black male stars in the entire industry with a near endless catalog, so that's just hilarious to me. But he's awesome and is one of the only bigger dudes that can shoot a good facial too. It seems like Mandingo is more active than Lex thesedays.
