Have you ever read confessions of ex porn stars or performers?
the ones who are complaining about porn and the need to use drugs and alcohol just to get through?
how did you feel about those confessions?
do you think they are paid to talk badly about their experiences with porn? or do you feel it makes sense?

I read some rantings a very cute performer (shame about her ugly tattoos) made after she left the biz.

I believe it. Just like some ex-athletes will complain about how tough it was, the pain they endured, the drugs they had to take to get back in the game, how teams want you to ignore injuries... yet ask the vast majority of them if they would do it all over again and the answer would be a resounding "yes".
I have had a few shit jobs over the years, and I could go on for a while badmouthing them, but if in the same position in life, I would still do the work for the pay I needed at the time.

Unfortunately i couldn't understand much of what she said, my English is not really good in listening as it is while reading

But isn't it different? some athletes are suffering but not all
what those ex porn performers say is that every one suffers, they just fake happiness and pleasure doing porn.

I can't say for sure. What I do know, is that most people do not enjoy their work, so I don't see why performers in the adult industry should be any different.

It is obvious that if they are unable to project a credible image of themselves enjoying their performance, their career is bound to suffer (resulting in fewer bookings and less money)...

I agree, most people don't enjoy their work but i am talking about suffering to the point that they need drugs like those ex porn performers are saying
there is a difference between not enjoying and suffering
they are not talking about not enjoying, they are talking about suffering and all kinds of drugs and wanting out but it is not easy to get out etc...

You are right. It is different, in a way. The ex-pornstars are probably prone to extra drama and are wrongly generalizing by assuming their experiences are the same as anyone else in the business. I guess I meant I would have no problem believing their individual accounts. Unfortunately, many former performers have an axe to grind or have another motive to their "confessions". Many are "born again" religiously or believe they won't be looked down upon if they act like they were disgusted by their own actions. Adding the drugs to the story, I assume, will make them look as if they weren't able to make clear decisions. But I definitely doubt many of them, if they could go back in time, would change to jobs flipping burgers or working at the mall.
