Is the basic structure of your average porn scene too repetitive?

I don't really watch a lot of porn that falls into any particular niche.
Most of the scenes I enjoy are of the one man, one woman variety.

Yet I have noticed that nearly all of them share a single basic structure that can more or less be summed up as follows:

• Woman performs fellatio on the man
• Vaginal and/or anal intercourse with a few intervals of more fellatio
• The proverbial money shot where the man cums on the woman's face/in her mouth/on her chest

I would say that 80% of the scenes I see conform to this basic structure, regardless of their country of origin or the studio involved.

My question is: is this basic structure too much respected in the porn industry?

I completely agree. And it is boring. That is why I watch a lot of lost bet or draw of the card type of scenes where we can at least pretend the action was random.

Why too do the women never finish the guy off in these type of scenes? Rarely do I see a girl sucking or stroking a guy to the point of blowing his load. After half an hour of fucking, the mopes just jerk themselves off at the end.

Wow, what I said was, the predictable formula is boring.

Give me porn that is not so predictable. And I don't mean midgets and shemales, just something with a little thought.

Fact is that even though porn does exaggerate some aspects of sexual relations, there are only so many variations of the act that are physically possible: at the end of the day the factors that differentiate good from bad porn boil down to the interpretative skill, attractiveness and personal charisma of the performers, both male and female.

The formulaic nature relates mainly to the setting of the scene, and we all know how reliant of cliches porn is.

A BJ is a BJ, but even though they all equally involve a dick in the mouth, not all BJs are equal: what makes them hot is a combinations between beauty and skill of the female performer, and the cock size and load of her male counterpart.

And usually the girl has to be on her knees to receive the cumshot.
