believe it or not as a guy that was formally in this business i can tell you most follow the direction some do it for the money some enjoy it to a point but after awhile it becomes mechanical and they just go threw the motions and some do care about the fans because without them they would not be there but to a point and a lot of fans have the idea that if they ever meet one that they are just going to fall in bed with them some can be rather picky on whom they have a relationship with so all in all its about 50%50

I don't understand why porn performers/talent (J Chr!st, we are they all called stars

) should be any different to regular actors/performers; in many ways there's a parallel.

A writer, producer/director, the performer follows instructions / a script.

Sure there are some famous and infamous actors who are known to ad lib their way through movies, equally on stage.

Similarly, if a good adult performer is hitting the spot, they may be turned on enough to do (ad lib) likewise; come to think of it, that's probably how and when (the few) really good scenes we so rarely see now actually occur.

So yes, I guess it is back down to a combination of money and a desire to be called on for another performance.

For the most part it's all simply done at a cheapskate level/budget.
