where do uploaders get new content?

First off I thank all you uploaders for taking time out of your day making things free for the community. However, sometimes I wonder where and how you uploaders get all your new content.

I always assumed that uploaders have a subscription at a site or buy DVDs and post online but that costs money and eventually uploaders wouldn't upload anymore given the lack of file hosters that pay out money. *note, there may be some disagreement about the previous sentence but this is not the topic for that.* However, this assumption does not account for how some uploaders post new content before they are even available for purchase.

The only reason I ask this question is because I have a certain DVD, Superstar Gang Bangs, that's been out for about a week now but has yet to be uploaded. I've been looking everyday for it but it is not available. If my assumption is correct, uploaders probably didn't get the DVD because it's not from some of the well known distributors. Maybe I'm just speaking too soon...

Somewhere between the discs being printed and then distributed. It's not uncommon for some shops to break street dates or sell a few copies under the counter (is that expression correct?)

Does the porn industry even enforce street dates like other companies do for books and games? Or if you are talking about digital content... then no idea.

Anyway, if you plan on uploading, just do it. As some things, even if super interesting or well known may not be picked up to be "released" by Scene groups or other individuals.

As for the other part of your post, some people just do it simply to share, see torrent sites for example.

I'd say the majority of the content obtained by uploaders are available through certain channels most users are either too lazy to look for or unaware of, but I can assure you - most of us worth our game don't pay for subscriptions.

The vast majority of uploaders are probably uploading it second hand i.e. its already been taken from the original source by someone else, and shared. These "2nd phase sharers" (cant be arsed thinking up a better name for them )are just taking the first upload, downloading it themselves, and uploading it to their own choice of file host (or simply using the same download link and posting it on a different forum). So the question of where does it originally come from is really aimed at a small section of uploaders. Some people will pay for subscriptions to the official porn sites, others will manage to crack their way in, others will buy DVD's, rip them then upload them.

I always post stuffs I personally download from pay sites. So in most cases I post brand new videos, sets. I always try not to post stuffs already have been posted in this forum (and mainly in the same thread!!) because I cosider that a very loser thing

This, mostly. You'll find most content comes from sites that don't require "pay-to-play". Other content is almost never posted because people aren't paying for the sites and sharing. Obviously people do join sites and share, but the large majority of stuff isn't obtained that way IMO.

DVDs? I'd say a lot of those are either obtained by online rental services the same way as above or actually rented then ripped for upload. OP, you asked about a certain DVD titled Superstar Gang Bangs however, look at how many new DVDs come out on a regular basis. Sometimes if you want something bad enough you just have to rent it yourself. I can think of a few DVDs I have scenes from but they're lower quality. I would have to rent them to get the HD version.

I'm afraid that is what I will probably have to do in order to get that scene. I'll just wait a few weeks to see if it shows up. I thought it would be a really popular DVD but I guess not.
