Overwhelmed by quanity?

Are you ever overwhelmed by the insane amount of porn on the internet? Sometimes I feel like I must be missing out on some gems as I try and sift through a bunch of mediocre stuff, and as someone who isn't a huge porn connoisseur, I don't always know the best places to start.

What are your strategies for finding the good stuff? Do you have a system (specific sites, DVD reviews, hunting for 24 straight hours) for finding the good stuff? When I find a girl I really like, I start a folder and collect as many scenes as I can. Feel free to share any tips you have, and I apologize if this thread sucks. I'm new here .

There is indeed more porn than you could ever watch and, unfortunately, most of it is shite. It indeed takes some digging and some knowing where to look to find the pearls among the rubble. A good starting point is this forum, asit is run and filled by porn connoisseurs.

I used to watch about 50 girls. I collected their scenes. Then when piracy took off the girls paychecks dropped dramatically and now the girls have to shoot 3-5 scenes to make what they used to make back in the 90s for 1 scene. So there became a huge amount of porn and most of it quick, inexpensive gonzo shit. Put a porn mope with the girl and some lame unimaginative setup like talking her into a bus ride or some scary looking black guys about to beat up some wimpy white boy that owes them money unless the kid's momma fucks the 3-5 black guys and record them fucking.

I had to trim that list down to 10-15 girls and I was recording everything they did as long as the quality was fairly decent. Still it was too much work and tieing up too many DVDs and HD space. More recently I started only collecting really good scenes the girl thats one of favorites did. I dropped girl/girl, solo, and other scenes that just did not really interest me.

Some of the girls I like put out a new scene every few weeks and some like Phoenix Marie, Shyla Styles, and Haley Cummings seem to have a new scene like every day. Girls that shoot for Brazzars seem to be very prolific in the number of scenes they do.

I too have reached the stage where I could not watch every scene that I have even if I watched 24/7.

I to am changing my strategies and concentrating on certain female stars. But then that means you have some good stuff and some rubbish.

So may be the answer is more specialized threads on Planet Suzy for certain types of stuff that appeals to each of us.

I have a habit of downloading most scenes I want, watching them and moving on to pastures new. I do have several girls I go back to regularly but it's only two or three of them.

I have gone a similar route except that except for about I have not deleted anything since the infamous HD crash of 2007

I took the view that HD space is so cheap now you can afford to put the old/'lesser stuff' or girls you think you lost interest in onto one and archive it for posterity

Regarding the Brazzers thing and all the crap they include driving around in trucks and talking for half the 'clip'; if the actual 'performance' is good I just shoot it through an app and cut all the lead in nonsense out.
Only takes a few minutes and halves the HD space used

Yes and the file sizes are getting bigger and my download cap got bigger !

I would never throw anything away ! (it took me so much work to get it)

Yes with the price of Hard drives now its better to store your stuff on them rather than DVD's like I used to.

as too much of anything can easily lead to desensitization

Theres always been a lot of crap made throughout every decade in porn even the so called vintage golden age

Theres simply no substitute for researching what your about to watch..5-10 minutes spent on the databases like iafd,egafd & reading reviews is time well spent rather than simply downloading and taking your chances.

Collecting full sets of pictures too me is waste of time/space as inevitably you might have 20/30 pics that hit the mark and the rest simply the same pose with a slight change...not by mistake magazine spreads were only ever 5-10 pics...quality over quantity everyday

The variety thing is something that I'm working on. It keeps things new and exciting, but it also opens you up to a whole new area of material. The databases that you mentioned are somewhat new to me, and so far they have been really helpful in sorting everything out. I realize that TOO MUCH porn is basically an awesome "problem" to deal with, but with a little bit of time and effort it can pay off.
