Are Remote Uploads From Oron To FileSonic, FileServe Blocked?
I had a prem Hotfile account but I could not remote upload a file from Hotfile to FileServe. Hotfile blocked it. I would like to move some files from Oron to Filesonic and FileServe, will they be blocked?
I would like to find out before I pay the Oron membership fee. Regards

Because it comes with too many restrictions for the kind of heavy file transfers that movies etc require. IP limits, size limits, huge waiting time limits, and so on.
I won't say I regret getting the premium account when I did, because I did exhaust most of the thread I wanted to download stuff from, but I won't be getting another premium oron account again. |

Setting IDM to work with Oron?
I'm leaning towards subscribing to Oron file hoster and have just signed up for a free account with them. I am a long time rapidshare subscriber and have Internet Download Manager (IDM) set so when I click on a rapidshare link it enables me to download direct from the link without going to the site, direct download.
Is Oron able to do this? |

I would even go so far as to say it both sucks and blows simultaneously.
This is getting ridiculous though. 1st Talk Talk shafts access to FS then i switch to BT & now ORON. Where does it say in my FUP "though shalt not have access to free pron anymore" ???? |

These are the current isps using the IWF list
Last edited by darthro; 6th March 2011 at 21:12.
Reason: additional info
Internet Service Providers BT Claranet East of England Broadband Network Easynet Eclipse Exa Networks Karoo Kcom Madasafish Namesco NDO NTT O2 Orange Plusnet Redstone Research Machines Royal Mail SimplyNames Sky Talk Internet Talk Talk Tesco The Cloud Thus UK Online Virgin Media Yorkshire and Humber Grid for Learning I got the above list elsewhere. It seems that most filesharing sites are on the IWF block list and the above ISPs use it to block access. This only affects UK residents |
