Question about iTopVPN and torrenting
I got caught and warned twice by my ISP for torrenting (without a VPN), so I quit doing it.
I looked at free VPN's, since I can't afford a paid one. iTopVPN looked good. It says it offers "free and unlimited use", etc. Reviews were good, and say things like "designed to provide unlimited access", etc. I realized my SPEED would be throttled with the free version, but I could find nothing anywhere regarding a data limit. So I installed it, checked my virtual IP, all good. I kicked off a torrent. After the torrent sits in "connecting to peers 0.0%" mode for *45 minutes*, not downloading jack shit, iTopVPN shuts itself down and eliminated my virtual IP, saying I've reached the daily data limit! WHAT THE HELL IS THAT ALL ABOUT, then?  Thanks in advance.  |

I just took a peek, and this was the first review I found: "TouchVPN is a poor quality VPN in almost every aspect. It provides lacklustre speeds, zero customer support, and will not work to unblock streaming services. The encryption protocols are outdated and its invasive logging policy puts your privacy at risk. 6 days ago"
