HQ Desktop Wallpapers degrading
I've had a nice collection of high quality desktop wallpapers that alternate every 10 minutes. But some are looking like they are degrading. Do I need to get an 4k monitor? Or are the wallpapers gonna keep decreasing like this overtime?

The files won't change, ever, unless something is changing them. Simply using images as wallpaper does not alter them in any way.

There could be a number of issues affecting the displaying of your screen savers. It could be a driver issue, or a monitor issue, or an issue with the graphics card, or a motherboard issue.
For a driver issue check if there is an update that you can install. For a monitor issue check if any of the settings can be adjusted to improve the display quality. For a graphics card issue check that it is seated properly, clean out any static dust that has built up since it may be causing a short and then check your graphics settings to make sure that they haven't changed. (I'm assuming that the resolution of your screen savers is the same resolution of your screen setting. If the resolution of any of your screen saverss is less than your display resolution this could cause the problem.) For a motherboard issue make sure that you clean out all static dust since a build up may cause a short in the motherboard and/or the connection with any cards/connections with the motherboard. Most importantly check that all power supply connections to the motherboard are securely in place. |

Put the wallpapers on an USB stick or external drive, walk to a friend and see if they look better at their monitor. If yes, you know what it is.
Most likely it is the monitor. A monitor has a limited lifespan.
