Now that SSL certificates are free, it would be nice to have one installed on Planet Suzy to protect the privacy of members. Would this be possible?

It'll be mixed content ssl most of the time because of all the insecure images here. I guess if it was implemented best way is to keep it turned off and let the people who want to use it turn it on themselves. I once thought it was a good idea but through reading stuff since that time it appears to not be the almighty missing link of protection but is useful nonetheless.

Hello - long-time fan (and member) here. I access PS on a Mac with Firefox, and just started getting this new message when I login (as of Firefox v.51).
When I click in the "Password" window to enter my password, a small window pops up with this message:

"This connection is not secure. Logins entered here could be compromised. Learn More"

If you click the "Learn More" link, you're taken to this page, where Firefox explains that passwords and login information should be submitted only when the URL shows http:// etc.

Any chance that Planet Suzy will be updating to a more secure login system? Or is this something I need to be worried about?

I can confirm that the latest version of FF displays this warning whenever one is about to login to a non-https website.

Pornhub and youporn made the news with their switch to SSL. I think its time for PS to follow
