The Blair Witch Project
Does anyone remember how big this movie was back in the days? I recalled i got to see it on tv i believe on the movie channel or showtime. I was young back then and during the entire time i was pretty nervous watching the movie because i heard of how scary it was and how ppl had nightmares.
I was scared through the movie because i thought something scary was going to happen yet nothing really did happen. Can someone explain this movie? I just recalled at the end, there was like a witchlike figure at the end and that was all? I never really understood the movie looking back at it from now. |

Hated that movie.
That was one of the very first IF NOT the very first 'found footage' genre movie. At the time, because it was so new, everyone got fooled into thinking it was real and not only was it not, the movie stunk and it made a lot of people sick with the shaky camera. I heard of people who vomited in their auditorium seat. Ever since then, I don't watch any found footage film including the latest entries in the genre, the Paranormal Activity series. Anyone who believes found footage films are real got to have their brain checked! |

Great movie, terrible finale - like hearing your car's alarm go off right as your about to orgasm.

The Blair Witch Project was good. The big deal is that it made so much money from a very small investment. The sequel was crap. VHS was great. VHS 2 isn't as good. Overall the Paranormal Activity series is good. A couple of the sequels are better than the original. But the last one was just awful. |

Saw it in the theater and couldn't believe anyone bought into the idea that it was a real documentary.
