video editing/fixing help
So I was looking for a specific scene from a movie and was fortunate enough to find said movie via filesharing software. Everything looks good, until I start watching the scene that I was after and about halfway through it starts acting funny. I'm guessing that whoever originally ripped it to divx (divx+mp3 in AVI container) had some skipping issues with the DVD.
A normal sequence of video would run: ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZ..... where each letter is roughly a 1 second chunk of film. The scene that I have starts off okay, but then from what I can tell, runs like this: ABCDEFGPHQIRJSKTLUMWNXOYPZQRSTUVWXYZ Towards the end of the scene, everything goes back to normal and the remaining scenes in the movie play fine (just my luck that the scene I want is messed up). The audio seems to follow a different pattern, but still duplicates: ABCDEFGGHHIIJJKK So the end result video looks like this: video:ABCDEFGPHQIRJSKTLUMWNXOYPZQRSTUVWXYZ audio:ABCDEFGGHHII......................PPQRSTUVWXYZ I would think that everything could be fixed if a filter could be applied that would remove the duplicate video and audio. I am a video editing n00b though and don't know how to do this. Can someone tell me how to do this? Or even better, can someone do this for me if I upload the scene? As a reward you (and the rest of psuzy) will receive a hot scene of Tabitha Stevens and Houston rocking a double ended dildo, something that is hard to come by in Tabitha scenes... Thanks in advance for the help.
