I have been posting upscaled/remastered videos for a while now in my thread at http://veterperementour.ru/t1081987-s...-upscaled.html and wanted a place for people to be able to leave feedback on my work, post requests, let me know if a download link didn't work so I can fix it, answer your questions about upscaling and remastering and whatever else you want to know.

So, that is what this thread is for.

If you haven't checked out that thread yet, this bit from the first post summarizes the work I am doing:
"I simply hate compression artifacts and poorly produced videos, so I have spent LOTS of time (too much I'm sure) hunting down the best quality versions of my favorite scenes/actresses and then worked to clean them up. The content ranges from restored vintage scenes to current day releases that have been improved (no more orange-tinted skin junk).

Each of these videos have been individually fixed, working from the best quality source I could find, to maximize image clarity.

Artifacts cleaned up/removed.
Picture sharpened to eliminate fuzziness.
Brightness, contrast and color balance corrections.

Requests have already become a pretty popular thing, and I can understand why since the whole reason I got into doing this initially was to improve the quality of my own favorite clips. Here is the deal with requests... Each video that I post takes around 2-5 hours to produce for a 720p clip. A 1080p clip takes around 4-8 hours to produce. This includes the time to preprocess/tweak the clip before running it through Topaz Video Enhance, upscaling/cleaning it with Topaz, coloring correcting the huge file that comes out of Topaz, and then doing a final encode. And THEN it takes a bit of time to prep and upload the file and then post it. Since there is such a substantial amount of time invested in each file I post, I mostly agree to requests that align with my own interests for clips that I will likely add to my own collection.

That being said, even though there are specific stars and content that I lean toward, my interests are rather wide-ranging so feel free to request anything. A good scene is a good scene.

For requests that fit into my sweet spot of preference... here are the subject matter and stars that I am most interested in:

IMPORTANT INFO FOR REQUESTS

PLEASE make sure that the links you are giving me to work with point to complete scenes. I have recently worked on some scenes that ended up cutting off shortly before the end and had to trash all the work done on them, which means they won't get done.

Also, please try to give me links to downloads that do not require a password to extract the file(s). I usually add files to download to jdownloader in batches and do not even look for passwords. When the files prompt me for a password and I don't have it, I just delete the archive and move on.

So, please make sure you send links to complete scenes and try to avoid passworded downloads, if you can. If that is the only one you found, let me know in the request.

This will help ensure your requests are not lost and actually have a chance to be completed.

may I ask you what are the specs of your pc? I'm asking because last time I tried to upscale a 3 minutes more vid with Topaz it took me more than 8 hours...

Sure! Yes, encoding and upscaling are resource intensive for sure.

PC Specs:
AMD Ryzen 7900X
ASRock Taichi X670E
32GB GSkill DDR5 6000
Radeon 5700 XT

I recently upgraded to the 7900X from a 3700X CPU and my CPU encoding times were more than cut in half. As soon as I can get my hands on an AMD 7900 XTX GPU I will be getting one, and that should reduce my time to upscale and enhance with Topaz by 50 - 66%. Looking forward to that.
