So Twitter has stopped the ability for people to view posts unless you log in.

If you have Ublock Origin as a browser add-on then go to Ublock Origin and click on the UO icon that looks like a red shield then down to the 3 cogs and click on the tab that says My Filters and paste this text in below.

Twitter sucks now more than they ever did. According to them, it's totally cool for guys to send unwanted dick pics to girls, even publicly rather than a DM. Doesn't break any of their "rules." It's not harassment in the least...

Quite frankly, I miss the old days when there was no Social Media around, and people actually had real face-to-face interactions.
These days, everyone seem like a "robot", always checking their FB, Twitter and IG, even in events when there shouldn't have been any valid reason to (ie. Concerts, movie theaters, restaurants, political debates, etcetera).
Besides, what Social Media really brought to us that is of "real value"? Fuffing nothing.

There have been more cyber-bullying that lead to suicides, mental disorders and politicians spitting hate all over the place, than actual meaningful and worth remembering things since Social Media have been around.

I deleted my FB and Twitter almost a decade ago. Never ever looked back, since.
People that want to find me, know where to contact me.
I might be more "alone" without any Social Media, and maybe miss out on some events. But i'd rather prefer to spend some quality time, alone, maybe enjoying a book, a movie or an hobby, than actually care about people who I don't see or speak to since 20 years.

Forums are still a good way to interact with like-minded people. And I actually met quite a few interesting persons, in this forum, than I ever did on any Social Media platform.

People you meet in a forum will always remember your "name". On Social Media, on the other hand, you are nothing but just a mere number on someone's list that doesn't matter as much.
And once you're "gone" from Social Media, you don't "exist" anymore.
Harsh pill to swallow, but it is the mere reality of the alienation effect caused by all these platforms.

you can also view twitter without logging in by just replacing twitter dot com with nitter dot net

so if you get a link and twitter only lets you scroll down a few pages of replies and then wants to you sign in to see more replies, just replace the "tw" with "n" and "com" with "net"
