When i'm not sure what i'm in the mood for, I like to select a bunch of vids and let the shuffle feature on my player do the work for me so I can click through till I find something that tickles my fancy.

I used to use Media Player and VLC but have switched to PotPlayer as I didn't want to worry about all that codec nonsense. Now overall I think PotPlayer is great but the "shuffle" feature is bloody awful!

More often than not it will select a video that cropped up not more than 2 skips ago and sometimes will even select the same clip again when I click next. Now if the playlist only contained 4 or 5 vids I could forgive this, but on a bigger playlist this is just stupid.

Please tell me i've set something up wrong on it or need to change something in the preferences that i'm not seeing

PotPlayer is a work in progress. I've not used the shuffle feature, but I get similar results with both of my cars when using music on a USB stick.
