Anyone else here having massive problems with keep2share?

Download speed (Premium Pro account) is often low (today 50 KB/s) and I get a lot of broken files (crc errors) downloading with JD2?

I tested this on various computers (no antivirus apps!) with known good HDDs/SSDs. I don't have this problem with other file hosts.

After redownloading the broken rar/zip files (if required several times!) the archives unpack without problems.

What a messy file hoster!

Keep2share is the worst to use for downloads.
I cannot get it to work properly. About 80% of the files o this forum
are on Keep2Share, which is a sad.

Why pay for a "premium download" site when you can use another for free ?!

Free and fast is still...

There are many alternatives. But they want to force you to buy a premium account to download the files. The purpose of sharing files no longer exists. Without receiving anything in return.

I use Keep2Share and have no problem with it. Can download a 3gig file in less than four mins.

Ok, this is unbearable.

I have prem account, both K2s and Fileboom, and the speed with which is downloading the files is laughable. No more than 180 KB/seg. An hour and a half for a 418 MB file.

Sometimes it´s better, depending on the time of the day, but I´ve never had any problem with this hosts until very recently. Anybody is having similar issues?

Is anyone else having a problem where the daily traffic reset time is not consistent the time of the actual downloads? My 20GB daily limit resets at 7pm. However, any files that I download after 5pm count towards the next day's limit as well as the current day's limit. So, if I download a 2GB file at 5:30, when my traffic resets, it will reset to 18GB remaining instead of 20GB. However, if I only have 1GB remaining at 5:30, it won't let me download the file until 7:00, when the traffic counter resets.

Essentially, any downloads that I do between 5:00 and 7:00 get counted against two days traffic limits.

Is this happening to anyone else?

I don't have problems with K2s as a premium user.

1. Use freeware Ccleaner to remove all the crap that Win stores on your computer before you shutdown for the day. Glary Utilities too, if you are paranoid like me.
2. Install Speedtest by Ookla after you boot up, so you know what speed to expect from your ISP. Freeware
3. Install Ublock Origin. Free extension
4. Use Duckduckgo search engine instead of u no hoo.
5. Use Revo uninstaller to remove any programs you no longer need. It removes stuff that Control Panel Uninstall doesn't. Freeware
6. Use Internet Download Manager to download files. Free trial then purchase. It's cheap. (I have no commercial interest in the program.)
7. Some swear by JDownloader, personally I don't like it. Your choice.
