Did I mention I was finished spending until Monday?

Reason: redirect your honor.
Its Monday. I hit the day after sales before seven AM. I was home before 10:30. I hit five stores, but only made purchases in two. Total was $83. What did I purchase? I used a gift card a friend gave us on the half off section of foodie gift items, so lots of summer sausage, hot chocolate mixes and coffee items. Merry Christmas to me! And the wife, gotta share. |

I did a little gifting this past week. I have a neighbor who has a growing dvd blu-ray collection. He has special needs and I knew his aid probably wasn’t going to be able to get him much. I gave him 5 or 6 Marvel dvds, full Wonder Woman series, and the original Star Trek series. It was stuff I don’t watch much anymore. I figured he’d get some enjoyment out of them.

I was gifted a bottle of 12 year old Glenlivet Single Malt Scotch Whisky this Christmas: it's the good stuff!
Also, on Christmas Eve I went to do some shopping at my supermarket, when I was stopped on my way out and gifted a lot of candy and chocolates just for having been a good customer in 2022. I gave them all to my nephew...

Shopping on eBay I made out with quite a haul for under $80 and here's what I bought:
Star Trek The Next Generation "Q" Action Figure Star Trek "Khan" Action Figure Several DVD bundles since I'm still consolidating my DVDs to save space ...for more DVDs. :P Not on eBay I purchased food as well as two metal folding chairs with padding that I'm quite happy about finding.

When I get the chance, probably Tuesday, are we drinking it on the rocks, in a shot glass or out of the bottle? I want to make sure I get it right. |

The store manager told me it would have a slight sweet taste from the rum. The signs told me the Caribbean (orange label) was $53 and the green label bottle was $80. So, win, lose or draw, I have my "globe" etched shot glass ready. How are we doing this? |

Last item I purchased, was an 8cm M8 bolt to assemble a cat scratching post for a friend, because it came with missing base bolt. Not the most interesting thing, but it does save sending the whole thing back and getting a replacement.
