I've heard of the same two, but never watched them. The journalists on pwinsider and observer always talked about Sami Callihan when I was listening to their audios, before I got sick of listening to these 'insiders' jizz over their own voices. Dave Meltzer was/is the worst of the lot.
anyway, they were always putting over Callihan and saying he is a lock for WWE. That was over a year ago, so yeah. Looks like I will finally get to see him. |

Heya folks, been a while since i've chipped in. Had a few issues but all good.
Missed most of the shows but got round to Raw. Thought Swagger was impressive and enjoyed the Brock invasion. Was abit weird how HHH seemed so calm about his office being trashed. I was expecting more from him. I wonder if by 'old school' cage match Heyman is actually referring to the cage from the 90s. Cena and Ryback isn't really doing it for me yet. LMS is, by todays standards, usually crap. Henry and Irish Cena is ok. Obviously I would think the belt will have something to do with the ER stipulation. Show and Orton I couldn't give a rats ass but the Sandow rendition of the theme was awesome. I'm seriously bored of that theme and the Orton voices shit. It's somewhat insulting to people who actually do hear voices. Get a new gimmick or bring back Legend Killer. Fandango is starting to bore me to death. He has done everything he will ever do already if that makes any sense. In other words, dance. Did they hire a writer who used to make dance musicals? FFS enough dancing or actual dance fans will soon be tuning in and wrestling fans will be tuning out. |

Ryback: FEED ME WHORES
Godfather: $$ KACHING! Ryback: FEED ME HORSE Romanian meat factory: €€ KACHING! Tbh there are much worse things in WWE than Rybacks mic skills but yea they do suck big time. And technically he is ripping off Hogan now with the whole 'Rules' thing. |

Thoughts on...
1.) SmackDown Is Jericho! Jericho opens SmackDown with the Highlight Reel. If I'm not mistaken, the only last man standing match that Cena lost was against Edge, Backlash 2009. I just watched that moment on Youtube. Good times. Anyways, The Ryback is Jericho's guest. Jericho tried to relate to The Ryback, giving some names of former rivals. Cena, Shawn Michaels, and Bob Flippin Barker! That's right, Jericho knows where The Ryback's coming from, but The Ryback sure doesn't care. Some mention of The Ryback's Rules from Jericho: no carbs, don't swim right after eating, and wrestle better. The latter wasn't mentioned, but you know it's true. Jericho said The Ryback will probably win the WWE title, but will do it by demolishing a one legged Cena, which means he will be a champion with no respect. Comparing that to Jericho beating The Rock and Stone Cold on the same night. Yeah, no Ryback win would be as respectful. Good talk by Jericho, and he showed his cajones by getting right at The Ryback's face, ready to come to blows. However, Teddy Long had to bring his vintage booking. Yep, Jericho vs. The Ryback, first time ever, main event later. The Ryback's going to school. The Ryback gave Jericho a cheap shot. Punk. 2.) Kofi Kingston vs. Cody Rhodes. Still being rather high on Rhodes' performance on RAW with Randall, it's interesting they mention some dot com poll where Cody was voted the most underrated guy in WWE right now. Kayfabe reaction from Rhodes is said to be taking it as a 4th place trophy. That sure is kayfabe, a lie. He's one of the most underrated guys, but I think the most underrated guy right now, is Daniel Bryan. That's simply because he can work at the top of the card, and he can be a world champion again. So yeah. Anyways, Rhodes got wasted here. Short match just to bring Kofi back up after getting pinned by Ambrose on RAw. He did his Trouble In Paradise right when Rhodes attempted his Disaster Kick. Sounds great, but the truth is that Kofi only hit Rhodes' midsection. If it was in the face, that'd be more impressive. 3.) It's Renee Young, Colter. Not Reba! Yeah, Colter and Swagger are interviewed by Young. Colter hyped up Swagger's match with Langston later. Calling Alberto a "criminale," and saying Ziggler's a man of questionable morals. Boy, I'd say. The gameplan is to take the world title, then take back the country. Take that country, roll it up with some paper or something, and smoke that joint... 4.) Del Rio brought out a ladder from under the ring and got it inside the ring. Swagger and Langston had to fight for it. Now, given news of Ziggler's concussion, I'm trying to catch where exactly he got the concussion. I think it happened when Swagger kicked him while Jackie tried to get the ladder. You can see Ziggler feeling his head a couple times after that, and surely the kick from Del Rio didn't help matters. I had to go back again and see how devastating the aforementioned kick was. Yeah, right at Ziggler's face. Anyways, Del Rio got the better of this feud, using the ladder on Swagger and Ziggler already out loopy. So the match never got started anyways, and this just gave way to put Del Rio over, since he climbed up the ladder, holding the world title. Psh, that's fantasy for Del Rio. Reality says Ziggler retains. At least my reality... 5.) This is Dean Ambrose's third straight match, on the same show, SmackDown. Pretty awesome, especially considering the talent he faced. Undertaker, Kane, and here, Daniel Bryan! This match was great. Between Bryan's kicks and Ambrose's amazing facial expressions, the match had a lot of great stuff. They did wrestle in the indy circuit, at least during Bryan's brief firing from WWE. So they know each other to a degree. Similar to Rollins and Bryan, this matchup very much interested me. Seeing it, there's a good reason. There's a lot of potential in this beyond TV. To sell the realism, Ambrose's left eye was swollen, as a result of all those kicks from D-Bryan. The match ended with Shield interference of course. Rollins was the sacrifice, for Reigns to come in and stop Bryan's No Lock. Well shortly after, came freaking Kofi Kingston, solidifying this turning into a trios feud. Motherfucker. Goodness, I don't dislike Kofi Kingston, but his involvement here really bothers me for some great reason. Even if all titles are defended in the case of a 6 man at Extreme Rules, I prefer this to be just Team Hell No. At least their involvement is more organic and has roots dating back to The Shield's debut match at TLC. Kofi's is just out of the blue. Oh yay, Kofi's "frenzy" lit up the building when he beat on Ambrose and helped Team Hell No to send The Shield running. Kofi is such a savior. Of nothing. 6.) Goodness, I don't want to doubt Mark Henry. That would get you in trouble, but did he really just move a truck forward? I guess so, it didn't seem like he moved it quickly or anything, slowly moving past the yellow line. This was footage from earlier today. After the break and a recap of Sheamus' whipping, now live outside. Henry attempting to pull two tractor trailers, a combined weight of 100,000 pounds. Henry was interviewed by Striker, no lack of confidence, and mentioned his match with Sheamus at Extreme Rules. Playing as cheerleaders are Primetime Players, Curt Hawkins, and Damien Sandow. Now that's an eclectic bunch, right? After a tough time doing the work, Henry did pull those two tractor trailers. Either a great work, or great real stuff. It was random too, I mean, where was Sheamus? What was the point? These questions and such, this did seem out of place. Oh and the aftermath. The coughing and exhaustion, either great selling or real. Whatever the case, Henry's strong, that's what he does man. 7.) Renee Young interviews Randall! Short and sweet, said there will be no antidote to what he will do to the Big Show, referencing viper talk. Right after that, Big Show comes out for a match with Tensai. So Tensai came in like a house of fire and was keeping Show from landing a blow. Until, just one KO punch. That's it. Big Show's only offense was the KO punch. Not on a jobber, not on Zack Ryder for example. On Tensai, a guy with a head, that Cole said, is bigger than Big Show's. Logic. After subduing Clay, here comes a certain KO. An RKO! Damn good, it had a hit and run feel to it. 8.) Man arms?! That's what AJ referred to Kaitlyn as! Lady argument ensues. Kaitlyn called AJ a spidermonkey, and having the body of a 10 year old boy. OH SNAP! Natalya came in, the arguing stopped, with AJ saying "Later, gentlemen." OH SNAP! Dammit, these two should get an in ring promo with the comebacks and stingers here. Good stuff. Next came some crap in the form of Khali coming in wearing a Rey Mysterio mask. After Kaitlyn leaves, he comes in with a Cody Rhodes mustache. God dammit. 9.) Josh Matthews is so cute trying to add some heelish commentary. Crediting The Ryback, putting him over, all that little stuff. Matthews even called Cole a homer, mocked JR's thing for Stone Cold Steve Austin. Hell, why doesn't he suck The Ryback's cock? Matthews should just stick to being a face commentator, and let JBL do all the heavy lifting. Anyways, another good Ryback match. Is this his doing? Nah, he's wrestling Jericho, who makes everyone look better. Just ask Fandoodle. Speaking of that guy, he didn't appear on SmackDown at all, unless you count the WWE Active crap. I wished he came out after the match. See The Ryback was having circles danced around him by a star in Jericho. He did the necessary lifting and making himself look all strong. The powerbomb to prove it. However, it was still all Jericho in my estimation. The ending sucked, because apparently driving Jericho's groin to the ring post, equals a disqualification. That's right. Something done a couple times over the years, this time meaning a DQ. I was expecting a countout since Jericho and The Ryback were out for a good period of time. Going back to wanting Fandimple to come out, I sure didn't want to see The Ryback further punish Jericho after the DQ. He clotheslined Jericho over the announce table, and Matthews creamed his pants as a result. His wannabe butt buddy laid out a legend. 'Dango must've been Fandiddling himself... |
