I purchased some supplies to work on my fence. I am about to paint the section that faces the road. The part that faces the inside and the back of the property can continue to look like shit. Unless a heating / air conditioning unit goes out, my next major expense will be replacing long sections of fence.*
On the way from the home improvement store, I stopped by my now favorite thrift store. I purchased seven cds and two pair of socks for $3.92. One pair of socks is still in the original store packaging. The other pair is currently in the washing machine and just so damn goofy I can't wait to casually wear them into the living room for my wife's reaction. *more on that in the "accomplishment" thread. |

Bought a 4-DVD package with all of the Mad Max films for 20 euros!
The 4th dvd being a documentary on how they filmed all the films. This is cool and I do enjoy seeing those crazy films and crashes.  I have been tinckering around and experimenting doing a re-mixing of the entire film soundtrack to include more Rock music !  Unfortunately the old DVD film I used had poor sound quality, so these new dvds will help me on my future experiments in creating a brand new soundtrack as I watch the film with some... Van Halen (Loss Control), Metallica (Fuel), Motorhead (Ace of Spades), Judas Priest (Turbo Lover) and a few more rock songs mixed in with the actions scenes.  If you are interested, you can hear my old re-mix of the original Mad Max soundtrack here... http://veterperementour.ru/t1048871-miscellany.html It is just the soundtrack remixed and slightly extended to include some songs. I will next remix and rework the entire film (images) and include into it the songs.

More supplies for the fence today, so it goes without saying I stopped by my favorite thrift store.
This time I bought two shirts, one for my wife, one for my dad. The socks I mentioned in the previous post "still in the original store packaging," are for my niece. What did I buy for myself? I bought paint and a tank of gas. Oh, and that goofy pair of socks for $.39, I think I'll spring those on the wife tonight. |
