Since I'm always on the lookout for a great villain in a film, there are too many favorites to name. But these are my top 10 (in no particular order):

Emilio Fernandez(Mapache) - The Wild Bunch

What if I'm scarier in the book as opposed to a low-budget 8-hr TV Miniseries ruined by Molly Ringwald and Adam Storke?

Can't believe no mention of Hans Gruber from Die Hard. And what about Bruce the Shark, from Jaws?

But getting back to my favorite movie, Shawshank Redemption -- I was gonna go with either Warden Norton (Bob Gunton) or Captain Hadley (Clancy Brown, already in here as The Kurgan) ...

I would think that the 30 second appearance of this guy, Elmo Blatch, would be the biggest villain, as Andy lost 20 years of his life because of him. If he hadn't done what he did, the whole movie would have been about a guy's wife fuckin' around on him.
