Windows 7 end of support

The last time that I saw MS quoted percentages like that, they included business users. Business's hardly ever upgrade until they are forced (ie: lack of official support), and then they still drag their feet. Usually because they are also using house built software that also needs to be upgraded or replaced.

And no, they won't extend it as it's old and there are 2 newer versions of Windows also in use that also need support. The reason for providing the EOL is so that people can plan and upgrade ahead of time and not complain later that they didn't know.

For business users you actually can use Window7 until 2023, the consolation is you need to pay and it will go up every year, no word yet on home users such as myself and its a specific usage of business, but if you do a search for ' upgraded pay windows 7, you will see tons of articles.

I'll more than likely upgrade by Christmas of 2019, delete every program i'll never use, get the windows 7 backround and programs, erase the tiles and the apps and see what happens, just like i did with XP, I do admit the programs that windows gets rid of ' just because' is annoying, on my XP Computer the first program that popped up was Aim, aol messenger, after i got windows7 that was gone without me asking it to be removed.. the good o'l days

the tablet with no start menu is windows 8. they replaed everything they took out mostly that they took out in 8. windows 10 now runs as smoothy as any windows ive ever used an ive been a beta tester for every microsoft os since windows for workgroups 3.11.

seriously bro. upgrade. i agree that win 7 was rock solid but better security better driver handling and new features makes it worth it

heres a pic of my desktop. yes i changed the colors etc but its almost exactly the same as classic. and yes you can just choose the classic theme
