^I responded in his thread, so I'd like to move on from that to something else.

It's just an angle, but the fact this is getting attention from the political world shows that this is working. For better or for worse. Quote:

Vince vs Paul E = HHH vs Lesnar getting set up next week
Punk vs Cena = either Taker retuning or Triple Threat |

Punk walloped Cena with the belt and he laid there dead and Cena sold like he got hit by HHHs sledge in the head instead.
On another note... Santino is out with a neck injury and will be on the shelf for a while. Was injured back in January but he worked the RR anyways. |

Cena says: At Wrestlemania it will be Jack Swagger vs Alberto Del Rio

Crowd: Silence Ah it speaks for itself. No reaction whatsoever when Cena said that. The 'universe' don't want that match but I agree with what Seven said: Quote:

I think Swagger vs Del Rio can work...it just needs the time to mature. Swagger's anti immigrant promos are a good way to get him over as a heel and really push Del Rio as the face of the latino community that WWE wants him to become. SWagger has had to eat a lot of shit in the past year and a half or so, so with him being a former World Champion himself, it's good to see him getting another shot at the World Heavyweight Championship. And as for Ziggler cashing in...he still has around 5 months to cash it in. In WWE time, that's forever yet.
HHH vs Lesnar...this fight between Vince and Heyman next week is prime to revisit this feud. And you know what? I'm all for it. Their first match was more of just a fight. I'd like to see their rematch be an actual wrestling match. This isn't UFC...it's professional wrestling. Give us a wrestling match. And as far as rumors of Undertaker vs CM Punk at Mania? I would love to see that. I've heard that Taker wants to face Punk at Mania and have Punk be the one to end the streak...that way Taker can retire. He has alot of respect for Punk and if it's true that he wants Punk to end the streak, that just shows how much. Unless a story is started between them on Raw this coming Monday, it probably won't happen. Outside chance the week after. |

Its too soon for Swagger to go from jobber to Main Event PPVer. It just shows on desperate the WWE is right now and how stupid they think us fans are. Repackaging Swagger is fine but let him win some matches for a year or so AND THEN insert him into the Main Event picture.

Plus it's the World title, not the WWE Championship. A title that has been dragged through the mud in recent Wrestlemania times, and this is actually a step up. The bar's been lowered, it's easy to raise it again. A rejuvenated Swagger with an already attention gaining gimmick in Zeb Coulter, is enough to propel him to the WHC main event picture. I didn't say the WWE title main event picture, those are two different fields. |

If I had repackaged Swagger, he'd have a buzz cut and not gay fantasy adventure music, something more rocking. He should get an attire change too, he's been wearing that crap forever. Get some red, white and blue for this patriot gimmick. Along the lines of soemthing Kurt Angle would of worn but not an obvious rip off of course.. ankle lock.. which he took from Ken Shamrock of course. Good ol' insane Ken. Actually give him Kurt Angles music and turn him into Kurt Angle, changed my mind and make him as insane as Ken.

I feel that this resurgence of Jack Swagger is just at the right time. I mean, who wanted to see Del Rio vs Big Show for the title at Mania? Not me, that's for one. For too long, Swagger played second fiddle to Dolph Ziggler in their stable with Vicki. His US Title reign was nothing but a waste of time and made worse with him dropping the title to Santino. He's never been the greatest on the mic, so pairing him up with an old school guy like Zeb is the right fit. He's a former ECW and World Heavyweight Champion. He's got the "skills to pay the bills" and it's about time he's come back to take his place in the main event on Smackdown. With his ability in the ring, the match possibilities are fantastic.
