I don't care for the storyline, but I'd like it to come out that AJ and Dolph Ziggler are having sexy time. It would be a good way to get Vickie away from him. I know he is just her client supposedly, but so what? we said the other day about how things don't always make sense ( never make sense) so this doesn't have to be any different. You could turn him babyface at the same time.

He does make some good points as usual. I have to disagree with him on a couple of things, like CM Punk going as far as he can ? wtf, so because he has been a more productive main eventer than Chris , Chris is jealous. Maybe I just picked it up that way |

What else is there for Punk to do with his character that he hasn't already done and would still be allowed on TV in this PG era? He's already won the championship and walked away with it only to be brought back. He's already told the company and the fans to kiss his ass (on multiple different occasions). He's done the quasi-comedic face character of playing nice while still getting his wry humor licks in. He's been in a love triangle (quadrangle?). He's led a (quasi-skinhead) group of heels that took on the entire WWE and chastised the fans for their faults. He's stood up for the fans against the establishment and any heel that crossed his path and became one of the most over faces in several years. He's bounced between the most heinous of heels, neutral man caught in the middle and most over of faces so many times now, what else is there? He would have to totally reinvent his character, completely step out of his comfort zone. I doubt he'd be willing to do that since his character is both positive and negative images of himself and his beliefs. He can spin it either way and is very good at doing so. Quote:
It's just as lame as the Booker T/Eve/Teddy Long thing that's going on right now. They really expect the fans to believe that Teddy wouldn't be told that they have footage of Eve listening in on him and Sheamus and stealing his ideas? That he wouldn't immediately pull up that footage for Booker T? Really? Now they've got two thinly veiled, lying, scheming bitch angles going on at the same time. Beverly Hills 90210 must be sending them old scripts.

you're right and I don't disagree with you ( I was joking about the jealous part ). I was thinking he was going to reach a year as champion at least, not that it really means anything, but still.
I think if he is facing Rock at the Royal Rumble then he has to be champion because Rock is coming in and getting the match straight away. If Rock didn't open his big mouth and he wasn't coming back then I'd think Ryback was a guarantee to win. I just can't help thinking about the future. so we have your answer then. You think Ryback is going to win. |

I don't know if Ryback will win or not. Like Chris, I think it'd be the best move for the company. And like him, I have no idea what they're going to do. And that's not necessarily a bad thing.

aww come on, mate. just play along and tell your old friend Alan who you think will win. sitting on the fence is for losers.

I'll give mine then while you try and get off the fence. I don't think it will be the best move for the company if Ryback wins, in fact I think it will be a terrible move. I've got eyes that still work and from what I've seen of this guy over the years is nothing good. He has his fake unbeaten streak and nothing else. Say he wins the title. he comes out the next night , we expect the new champion to say something. Is John Cena going to come out with him and hold his hand? Does the guy know more than three words? It might possibly give a short boost to the rating until everybody realises that he is no good. I still didn't make a prediction, but I know what I'm leaning towards. one more thing. CM Punk is supposed to defend against John Cena when they come to Belfast. Obviously the title isn't going to change hands on some lowly House show. I've seen this match 500 times already, but never live. Providing Cena is ready to go of course, he might have been bsing last night. |

Ryback cut promos on NXT. They weren't great, but I don't think anyone would really expect him to have really great mic skills. That's not the type of wrestler he is. Heck, Goldberg wasn't very good on the mic either. All he had to do was come out, look intimidating and tell everyone to stay out of his way or they'd be run over. Batista was weak on the mic as well. But, he had the physique and intimidation factor that got him over. Even the Undertaker wasn't that great on the mic. He just looked mean, said a few intimidating things (if he spoke at all) and then kicked someone's ass. Orton is another man of few words on the mic. But he was a very good champion. Lesnar has Paul Heyman doing all of his talking for him now. I don't remember him being all that special on the mic. Kane? Please. His first couple title reigns he'd be more apt to eat the mic than speak into it. Yokozuna? Did he ever say anything more than a couple words at a time?
The list goes on and on. You have the charismatic types that are fantastic on the mic like the Rock, Stone Cold, Cena and Edge. Then you have the others that can get their point across with just the look on their face. Oh, and it's not a picket fence, so I can sit up here all day.
