But the actual sex in 70s movies was too short compared to the movie.

5) Porn actors who think they should be seen, heard, or anything else besides providing a hard cock for the woman. (90s, 2000s). Or they at least were unobtrusive -- even Peter North didn't try to be the center of attention. 6) Abuse, humiliation. Look, I'm no prude. There are rare times when the story, scene or even my mood calls for just a little spanking, a spit or two, or some filthy trash talking. Absolutely you can thank the internet for this. Dissemination of porn is so effective now that whatever is extreme/exciting today, is old hat tomorrow, literally.
Consequently producers find new ingenious ways to push boundaries "to keep it fresh/hot" or to just keep one step ahead of (or on par) with the competition. As a result end-user taste/acceptance has changed accordingly in keeping with the times, now actually expecting this type of content.

As for quality porn, and Im guessing you don't mean "HD", - generally thats been on the outgoing tide since the 90's imo. It certainly doesn't fit well with todays current porn model of quickly produced/ high turnover product, eg "weekly updates" on the paysites. Also with the advent of DV anyone with a digital camcorder can now produce porn if they want to, and many do. Content quality's bound to suffer... (anyone remember the SLR? )

To be honest it was always about the sex, the delivery today is now a more stripped down maximised impact, no-frills version of what many of us (myself included) watched years ago.
