It happened like a month ago, why it happened I can't really be sure.
Best guess is they didn't like the reaction Saraya was getting after the return match with Britt and parts of her promos in that feud were more heel promos so they went and looped in Toni Storm to be female Hall and Nash in WCW type of thing or something complete with the spray paint. They haven't really done a long promo about it but the idea is they don't like anyone who 'got their start' in AEW with inconsistent interpretations of that, especially if someone worked in Japan. Maybe there will be some nugget in the promos for the title match which hopefully Saraya will lose since she really doesn't need the belt. But the lack of talking segments for this has left the whole thing kinda scattered, which is about par for most things in the AEW women's division. |

I'm sure there are people putting over the iron man match as the greatest thing ever, what did they expect, they wouldn't book two flunkies to have that match now would they. Of course it was gonna be good.

I'd thought I'd throw this out there even though it starts in a few hours exclusively on FiteTV.
Impact X NJPW's Multiverse United PPV - Kushida vs Lio Rush - Jeff Cobb vs Moose - Mike Bailey vs Hioshi Tanahashi - Strong Openweight Championship: Kenta (c) vs Minoru Suzuki - 4-way tag for Impact Tag Championship:Bullet Club (Ace Austin & Chris Bey)(c) vs Aussie Open (Kyle Fletcher & Mark Davis) vs MCMG vs TMDK (Bad Dude Tito & Shane Haste) - 4-way winner added to Knockouts Championship Match at Rebellion: Deonna Purazzo vs Gisele Shaw vs Masha Slamovich vs Miyu Yamashita - 6-way Scramble for X-Division Championship: Trey Miguel (c) vs Clark Connors vs Frankie Kazarian vs Kevin Knight vs Rich Swann vs Rocky Romero - 8-Man Tag: Alex Coughlin, Sami Callihan, Fred Rosser, and PCO vs Eddie Edwards, Joe Hendry, Tom Lawlor and JR Kratos - Pre-Show: Yuya Uemura vs Gabriel Kidd Unfortunately, longest reigning Impact champion Josh Alexander got injured with a tricep tear and had to step down. This forced the cancellation of his title match against Kushida at MU and then Steven Maclin at Rebellion in 2 weeks. Now it will be Kushida vs Steven Maclin at Rebellion for the Impact championship at Rebellion. Also Mickie James is injured with a rib injury from Jordynne Grace accidentally hitting her with a spear when going for Masha Slamovich. I'm guessing Mickie being hurt is a work, since she's appeared at Sacrifice and will be at Multiverse United. She'll be ready for Rebellion to defend the Knockouts championship at Rebellion. Another match that was cancelled was Mike Bailey vs Will Ospray, but Ospray got injured. This surely would have been a MOTY contender. |

Hulk Hogan Says Using A Leg Drop Finisher Was The Biggest Mistake Of His Career
WRESTLE ZONE yahoo.com Matt Black May 25, 2023 http://youtu.be/3hBS_JOF87o Hulk Hogan doesn’t have many regrets when it comes to his professional wrestling career, but his finishing leg drop is one of them. WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan was a recent guest on The MMA Hour with Ariel Helwani to discuss a wide variety of subjects. When asked if he has any regrets regarding his professional wrestling career, Hogan pinpoints making the atomic leg drop his finisher as it eventually destroyed his body. “Yes. After everybody says, ‘Would you do anything different in your wrestling career,’ everybody always says no. I would have done something completely different,” Hulk Hogan admitted. “When you’ve got the largest arms in the world, why are you dropping the leg every night for years and destroying your back? Why wouldn’t you put people in the sleeper with the largest arms in the world? Why wouldn’t you use the sleeper? “It could have been me and Piper, sleeper versus sleeper, who knows? But yeah, that’s the only regret I have, that leg drop because back in the day, the ring, sometimes the concrete was easier to land on than these old-school rings. If you go to the Baltimore Civic Center, they had a boxing ring. If you fell down in the ring, you would be paralyzed. “I was in the ring with Andre that first turn; he goes, ‘No bumps, boss.’ I said okay, if you say so.’ I had no idea if you fell down in the ring, you’d hurt yourself; it was so bad. That would be the only change would not to do that finish.” |

Tonight's Impact Under Siege PPV Final Card
- Impact Championship: Steve Maclin (c) vs PCO (No DQ) - Knockouts Championship: Deonna Purrazzo (c) vs Jordynne Grace (If Grace loses she can't go after the title again as long as Deonna is champion) - Tag Team Championship: ABC (Ace Austin & Chris Bey) (c) vs Subculture (Mark Andrews and Flash Morgan Webster) with Dani Luna - X-Division Championship: Trey Miguel (c) vs Chris Sabin - 6 Way #1 Contender Match: Alex Shelley vs Eddie Edwards vs Frankie Kazarian vs Jonathan Gresham vs Moose vs Yuya Uemura - 6-Man Tag Match: Rich Swann, Sami Callihan, and TBA vs The Design (Cody Deaner, Alan Angels, and Kon) - Trinity vs Giselle Shaw - Nick Aldis vs Kenny King Pre-Show: - Digital Media Championship: Joe Hendry (c) vs. Dirty Dango - Non-title: Knockouts Tag Champions The Coven (Taylor Wilde and KiLynn King) vs. The Death Dollz (Courtney Rush and Jessicka) _ _ _ Trinity Fatu is the only ex-WWE female talent who made the smart decision to sign with Impact instead of AEW. She had a great 12-minute match against KiLynn King, so I'm looking forward to her match against Giselle Shaw. As for the person I hope to be the final member of Sami Callihan's team against The Design is a crazy wish, but I want it to be Tessa Blanchard. It makes perfect sense storyline-wise and blow the roof off the building. Yes, she left the company on bad terms, but she could rectify the relationship by re-signing with the company. It would show she learned her lesson and wants to fix it. |

Just finished watching Under Siege PPV and Impact has already had the PPV of weekend and it hasn't even started yet. The No DQ main event between Steve Maclin and POC was so brutal to the point AEW and WWE will literally kill somebody to top it. Then there was also the aftermath where it gets even crazier.
If you guys don't like Impact after watching this PPV, you deserve crappy AEW and WWE. |

A little off the beaten path...

Rhaka Khan (real name Trenesha Biggers) was a TNA talent for a year or two, as well as being in the WWE development system for about a year... after listening to a Jim Cornette podcast last night were he mentioned he was being sued by Khan (and not knowing why), I decided to do some research. I found Khan's lawsuit, which has to do with the attempted kidnapping of her and her two children nearly a decade ago. She was also in a relationship with Kurt Angle circa 2008-2009. I have uploaded the lawsuit, not so much for the allegations, but for who she listed as defendants... and it's absolutely fucking hilarious to go through the list (and it should be noted that to date, none of the defendants have been served). She is suing for $3 billion - yes, you read that right... and the court is allowing the suit to proceed: pdf / 8.2 mb Code:

Wrestling Star Takes DNA Test to Prove if He's Rep. Lauren Boebert Father
Knewz msn.com Story by Richard Burkard June 4,2023 The family story of Rep. Lauren Boebert, R-Colorado, keeps getting stranger. Now it involves a DNA test and a former pro wrestler. The test concludes Stan Lane is not Boebert’s biological father. That was the claim of her mother, Shawn Roberts Bentz, going back to the late 1980s. Bentz claimed she had a short fling with Lane. That led to a court fight, with Lane ordered to take a paternity test in 1990. That test, using a blood sample, cleared Lane as well. That meant he didn’t have to pay child support. But then a North Carolina laboratory worker who took the test was found guilty of taking a bribe. Bentz demanded a second test using DNA. Lane, 69, agreed to it in mid-May, after Boebert filed for divorce. Lane told Wrestling News and related websites in a statement that Boebert now has apologized to him on behalf of her mother. “This situation and the numerous false claims made against me over the years has been stressful for me and my family,” Lane said. According to the Daily Mail, Boebert confirmed the apology to The Daily Beast. “I personally have never publicly claimed he was my father,” she said. “But certainly, that allegation is out there.” Lane wrestled in the National Wrestling Alliance as part of the Midnight Express tag team. He became a powerboat racing announcer after retiring from wrestling. Lane expressed no hard feelings with Boebert, as she keeps searching for her biological father. Boebert’s life away from Congress has exploded into the spotlight since she filed for divorce in late April. Knewz reported two weeks ago that Boebert denies cheating on her husband Jayson with a Christian country singer. "There is absolutely nothing romantic between Sean Feucht and me, nor has there been,” Boebert said of the rumors. Feucht threatened legal action against media outlets that did not retract the report. |

Impact Against All Odds PPV (June 9th @ 8PM EST)
Last edited by vonVile; 9th June 2023 at 20:44.
Yeah, I know they just had a PPV 2 weeks ago. - Impact World Title: Steve Maclin (c) vs Alex Shelley - X-Divison Title: Trey Miguel (c) vs Chris Sabin - Impact Tag Titles: ABC (Ace Austin & Chris Bey) (c) vs The Good Hands - 8-4-1 Match To Crown #1 Contender: Nick Aldis, Mike Bailey, Jonathan Gresham & Heath vs Rich Swann, Moose, PCO and Bully Ray - Ohio Street Fight: OVE (Sami Callihan, Jake Crist and Madman Fulton) vs The Design (Deaner, Angels and Kon) - Dog Collar Match: Masha Slamovich vs Killer Kelly - Knockouts Champion Deonna Purrazzo & Trinity vs Giselle Shaw & Savannah Evans - Frankie Kazarian vs Eddie Edwards Pre-show (@ 7:30PM can be seen on YouTube): - Impact Digital Media Title: Joe Hendry (c) vs Dirty Dango - Knockouts Tag Champion KiLynn King) (c) vs Neveah _ _ _ The rules for the 8-4-1 Match are that it starts as a 8-man tag match and the team that wins must then go straight into a Fatal Four-way match. As for what I hope to happens is the return of The Rascalz during the X-Division match with Zachary (WWE's Nash Carter) Wentz interfering for Trey to keep the title. This would then go into a feud with MCMG. It could escalate to 6 man tag match of The Rascalz (Miguel, Wentz and Myron Reed) vs Time Machine (Sabin, Shelley and KUSHIDA). For those that don't know the history of The Rascalz it's a stable of Trey Miguel, Zachary Wentz, Myron Reed and Dezmond (WWE's Wes Lee) Xavier. Impact's version of The Rascalz where Miguel, Wentz and Xavier. I was pissed they never won the tag titles before Wentz and Xavier left for the WWE. They had some great matches with one being a triple threat between all three members for a X-Division title shot. |
