It'll be interesting now that he's bought 10% of Twitter. Apparently he's already censoring his employees on the very same app that he wants to make "Free Speech". I didn't dive into it, but I saw a headline on Reddit. I saw another post where the board said they are limiting Musk to 15% ownership of Twitter. He's already talking about selling a (massively over-valued) chunk of Tesla in order to buy more Twitter stock.

Apparently there is absolutely no change at all when it comes to who bans what, the thing that people forget is that Twitter has never had a free speech policy as it is a privately owned company, it's like people getting a forum ban, if you don't like it make your own forum and let anything go if it's true free speech people want.

Personally Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Gab, etc can all fuck right off, I see them as playgrounds where wankers go to argue.

And I also reckon more people would demonstrate and do stuff about issues if these places never made it so easy to have a moan and then sit back with the KFC bucket 'O' slop

I have a feeling that he is preparing some sort of Political maneuver

By owning a famous worldwide chat-source (twitter), he could go on his
own political rant and say whatever he wants, with no consequences.

That is what Trump did for years (before and during his presidency), crazy
and stupid rants, until these internet chat-sources said "enough is enough,
he has gone too far", and finally pulled the plug on his crazy talk.
That guy clearly has a Dictator mind-set and is very unstable, although
many people still support this idea for having a U.S.A. Dictator being in power.

Now Americans have become so devided , that it could spark another American
civil-war in the near future. This can still happen.

I would also like to add, most people in the USA who support these radical ideologies
and radical political ideias, have NO IDEA what it is really like to live under
a "Dictatorship" and having their rights and freedoms taken away from them.
Perhaps America NEEDS this to happen to them - so they can finally wake up
to reality.

At the present moment I have no idea what is on Elon Musk´s mind, except
that wasting 44 Billion dollars on a Twitter is a waste of good money. His EGO
has become inflated with having the title "Richest man on Earth!".
With that amount of money he could be doing so much good for society and
build more hospitals, schools and make so much better things for everyone
on this planet.

Musk can't be President unless the US Constitution is amended - he wasn't born in the USA, and neither of his parents were US citizens. This question has come up before with candidates who were foreign-born (McCain, George Romney, Ted Cruz) or rumored to be (Obama) - in all of those cases at least one parent was a US citizen though. Being definitely born in South Africa to citizens of that country and Canada, Musk's potential candidacy is a non-starter.

Not that he needs to be US President to cause MASSIVE trouble, which I suspect he will do.

If Twitter was worth nothing, Elon could purchased it with pocket change.

The price he ended up paying reflects the market. This means the value of anything is determined by what people are willing to pay for it.

We can speculate all we want, but as for what he is going to do with his acquisition still remains to be seen: I sit on the fence and wait to see how this plays out.
