There were a few nuts, and lots of giant washers, along with a few bumpers. It was basically a bucket of project leftovers that I sold to guy who does much bigger projects than I do now.

Had a rare day off work. Last two days off work I have done absolutely nothing.

So I've got to get my butt in gear. Today, repair jobs, the fence, a shelf in the closet.

Cleaned and organized a quarter of the garage. Put away most of the decoration storage.

I've been trouble shooting lights for two days, yes, checking every bulb.

Got the last of the lights up, stockings ready, most of the gifts wrapped.

Got my toys for tots gifts ready for donation.

Somehow I managed a load of laundry and helped my neighbor with leaves.

Oh, and somehow I've lost six pounds this week. Hide and seek will be much easier.

I'm putting my tired butt in the bed. Glad I'm working tomorrow, I'll get a chance to lean on the wall.

We flew three families with special-needs children down to Mexico all expenses paid after the Airlines up here gave nothing but lip service as far as refunds and bookings. We provided our company Jet at no cost because we weren't about to leave it up to the airlines to mess up again and make them wait another two years for that much-needed vacation that they now get with no pressure.

Whether you send three needy families to Mexico or help feed three needy families in your neighbourhood they are no different in stature. My accomplishments are no more great than the next person they are just different due to standing and I shouldn't be chastised or made to feel guilty because my accomplishments appear to outweigh those of others which they do not in any way in my opinion. I will not be made to feel guilty for using my money to help others so worry about yourselves and just know that anything that you accomplished is a deed well done. Plus I'm well used to being thanked around LOL.

That said last year I declined a nomination for a businesswoman of the year award but when the matter was pressed recently I graciously accepted, the awards will be handed out in late January 2022 in Toronto.

If someone is going to put caveats or limitations on what an accomplishment is maybe this thread has no place here!!!

Thanks I guess but I haven't won anything yet but nonetheless I'm still a winner because I've since become friends with the other four nominees from last year who I in my opinion thought were more deserving. I've also invested in two of their companies

In my ongoing quest to clean out my garage and put my truck back in out of the weather, I have made another milestone today.

A hundred and fifty bucks of scrap lumber gone, and one step closer to the goal.

Funny how the expensive thing is in the driveway and the junk is in the garage.

But the change is coming.

But remember... do NOT throw stuff into the garbage if they
are still good and can be used by other people. There are many
people who don´t have much and could still use some old things
other people discard.
